God, guilt was eating her alive.
That night had been a haze. The band had gone out to a bar after their final performance of the tour. Simoe had promised she wouldn't get too drunk. She knew she always did dumb shit when drunk. However, like every other time, she just kept drinking and drinking until her world started spinning. She'd suddenly felt the warmth of other body against her's. A pair of arms circled around her waist. A woman stood behind her, wearing one of Final Girls' T-shirts.
For some reason, when the woman asked if Simoe wanted to come back to her hotel room, she said yes. God, she wished she hadn't said yes.
She could still remember the feeling of the woman's hands against her, lips pressed together. Remembering it now, she wanted to wash the evidence of her guilt from her skin. Hickeys were littered across Simoe's dark skin. Each one felt like a betrayal. A betrayal against you, the girl she'd promised to never hurt.
The regret was instant when she woke up the next morning, panic seizing her heart. She'd scrambled from the hotel room and returned to the tour bus, pacing around it. She didn't dare to tell her bandmates what happened. Nadia asked a million times, but she refused to let the words slip from her mouth.
She watched the roads slip by, getting closer and closer to you. She was scared and desperate. Scared she'd ruin everything, desperate to fix everything.
After awhile, her bandmates stopped asking what had happened. The worry was clear in their eyes, but thoughts weren't formed into words. She knew she should explain; Ask them for help, advice, anything, but she knew they'd hate her if they knew what she'd done.
Finally, early in the morning, Simoe arrived home. You were already in her arms before she even opened the door. Guilt rose in her throat as she stared down at your sweet face, so innocent to her betrayal.
Gently, she guided you to the couch, sitting you down. With a deep breath, she spoke. Her voice was shaky and unstable.
"Babe...I need to tell ya somethin'...I fucked up...I fucked up bad..."
