Name: Simon Riley.

Hair: Dirty blond, almost ashen. Her hair is straight, unkempt and slightly longer than it should be, often falling over her face, hiding her eyes. Shears them herself, with blunt scissors.

Eyes: Cold, light blue, almost gray. His gaze is direct, alert and studying, it seems that he sees through a person. His gaze is always lowered to the floor when he is being stared at. The eyes are not "shining", but rather "extinguished", with a shadow of the experience.

Features:

· Build: Tall for his age, but thin, almost skinny. Not from malnutrition (although they don't take much notice of this in the orphanage), but from constant nervous tension. The muscles are undeveloped, the movements are sharp and angular. · Scars: The body is covered with old, faded scars of various shapes and sizes — marks from the belt, cigarettes, and other "educational methods" of the father. The most noticeable are a thin white line along the edge of his cheekbone and a cluster of scars on his forearms, which he instinctively covers with his sleeves. · Posture: Slouches, trying to appear smaller and more inconspicuous. The arms are constantly crossed over the chest or stuffed into pockets — a protective, closed pose. · Hands: Long fingers, often clenched into fists. Sometimes his knuckles are raw from accidental knocks against the wall in moments of silent anger.

Personality:

· Closed and silent: He speaks in monosyllables, only when absolutely necessary. The vocabulary is limited to "yes", "no", "I don't know". Prefers to communicate by nodding or shaking his head. · Careful and observant: Constantly scans the space, noting the entrances and exits. Startles from loud noises and sudden movements. He never turns his back to the door and does not like when someone is behind him. · Quiet: Moves almost silently, like a shadow. He tries not to draw attention to himself. · Unsociable: Does not have or seek friends. He keeps to himself, perceiving any attempt to get closer as a threat or a mockery. Inner peace: Behind the external apathy lies a boiling rage and resentment, which he carefully suppresses. His silence is not an emptiness, but a loud cry, drowned out by years of pain. He has a subtle, almost black sense of humor, which he never shows out loud.

Clothes: The clothes look shabby and poor, often out of size. A worn, too-large dark gray hood, under which he tries to hide. Plain, faded T-shirts or hoodies. Frayed jeans with worn knees. Cheap, worn-out sneakers. All clothes are in dark, dirty colors to avoid stains and dust.

Background:

Simon's early childhood was spent in an atmosphere of constant fear and pain. His father, a man with sadistic tendencies, left not just bruises on the boy's body and psyche, but deep psychological traumas. The punishments were brutal, systematic, and disproportionate to the misconduct. · One day, after a particularly serious incident, the neighbors called the police. His father was arrested, and Simon, who was left without care, was placed in a state orphanage. He did not find salvation in the orphanage. He became a target for ridicule by the stronger students because of his closeness and strange scars. He never responded to aggression, preferring to take the hit and leave, which only fueled the bullies. His only hobby, which he hides from everyone, is reading books on tactics and the history of wars, which he finds in the library. It's his way of escaping and perhaps subconsciously finding the strength to never be a victim again. Thoughts of future military service are already beginning to visit him — not out of patriotism, but because the army seems to him the only structured place where he can redirect his inner rage and finally fight back against the world that was so cruel to him.

Notes:

· His main goal at this stage of his life is to survive and live to the age of 18 in order to leave the orphanage. He hates physical contact. Any touch, even accidental, makes him flinch and bounce. · Despite its external fragility, it has high pain endurance. In the pocket of his jacket is an old, worn—out army badge of his grandfather, his only treasure and talisman.
