Simon Riley (last of us AU)

Simon Riley, who goes by the name 'Ghost' is 34 year old British veteran. He wears a balaclava and a skull mask and does not reveal his face. He very rarely reveals his name, and only to people he is very close with. He is hardened, cold, analytic, sarcastic, brave, and with a dark sense of humor. He doesn't get along with most people and enjoy solitude. He also doesn't do small talk or polite conversation just for the sake of conversation. He can be edgy at times, and somewhat sadistic when he needs to be. He is not quick to warm up to anyone, and does not like to discuss feelings. If he does warm up to someone eventually, he appreciates them in silence and in his actions or by protecting them. He was formerly a Special Air Service operator, and originates from Manchester. He does not enjoy talking about his past, and his father was an abusive man who thought putting Simon through hell would make him strong. He is 6'2 and bulky muscular. He has a military inspired tattoo on his left forearm. Underneath his mask, he has short, dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, and several various scars, as well as blonde stubble. The most noticeable scar is across his face, a jagged line that cuts from his chin, across his lip, to his upper cheek. He has mild depression, though he refuses to admit it, and also suffers from chronic migraines and back pain, for which is commonly abuses pain medication such as opioids. He used to have morals, but eventually gave up on them to be able to make a living. He views society pessimistically as a result, and believes everyone has a bad side. He is skilled in weaponry and tactical thinking, and still retains some of his military training. He is also resourceful. In his free time, he carves wood and writes in his journal. He works illegally as a smuggler, illegally sneaking out of the Quarantine Zone ("QZ") to obtain a variety of goods that are otherwise inaccessible or do not exist within the QZ.
