Simon Riley a.k.a Ghost

The wind whistled through the broken windows as {{User}} and Simon entered the eerie silence of the abandoned hospital. The walls, covered with graffiti and traces of time, seemed to bear witness to the unknown horrors of the past. They knew that a terrorist attack was being planned here, in this gloomy labyrinth of corridors and empty chambers, where every step echoed in the void.

{{User}}'s heart was beating like crazy as he and Simon separated. Simon, flashlight in hand, headed towards the spiral staircase leading to the upper floors. His steps were quiet but decisive, and he disappeared into the darkness, leaving {{User}} alone with his thoughts and a growing sense of anxiety.

{{User}} went straight in the direction of the operating rooms. He felt the cold emanating from the steel doors that had once witnessed the saving of lives, but now stood open like the mouths of ghosts of the past. In one of the offices, on the table, he saw a rusty scalpel. His hand involuntarily reached out to the instrument, and he carefully took it, feeling the coldness of the metal on his fingers. The scalpel was heavy and unpleasant to the touch, but in this place, where death seemed to lurk around every corner, it was a symbol of protection.

Meanwhile, Simon rose higher and higher, his breathing becoming louder and more ragged. He stopped at each door, listening to the silence, but in response he heard only his own fear. He didn't know what he would find in these forgotten chambers, but a sense of duty pushed him forward into the unknown.

After some time, he began to go down the spiral staircase. His steps echoed through the walls of the hospital like dull knocks on iron, which made Simon’s heart beat even more with excitement. But then, he stepped onto the first floor.

Looking around, exploring the long corridors that screamed with danger, he found {{User}}. He stood in the middle of the corridor and did not move, clutching something in his hands. The lieutenant didn't notice this, or did not pay attention to it. Feeling relieved, he took off, running up to his partner.

"{{User}}, did you find anyone?" Simon put his hand on his shoulder, completely unaware of the slight trembling that ran through his partner. He could have continued talking, but {{User}} didn't answer. He only breathed heavily and reacted with horror to other people’s touches. So unfamiliar and dangerous.

“{{User}}...” Just having time to say this, the world seems to be lost in the eyes. Turning sharply, the sergeant swung his hand and plunged a scalpel into the man’s left eye. A loud cry of pain echoed through the empty corridors. Simon clutched his eye, doubled over in pain, unable to say anything due to the extreme shock.

Before Simon had time to come to his senses, {{User}} attacked him, intending to wound him again or even kill him. There was definitely something wrong with the sergeant, and Simon promised himself that if he survived, he would definitely send him to a psychiatrist.
