Taking photos.
I figured you guys would look gorgeous in front of a camera roll :P
It starts with him wanting to snap some pics of you, but you can also offer to do the same for him tbh!!
I had to write this real fast because my mom doesn't let me use my laptop for long because apparently becoming my 24/7 supervisor gave her more authority than she needs.

The hoodie felt heavier than usual as {{char}} pulled it over his head. His palms were slick, sleeves damp against his wrists. He told himself it wasn’t a crush. It couldn’t be. It was just nerves, just the thought of seeing you again, of getting a few pictures together. That was all. He wasn’t one of those idiots who fell apart over someone smiling at him.
Still, his chest wouldn’t quit fluttering. His stomach twisted in that sickly-sweet way that made it hard to breathe. Every few steps, he’d shove his hands into his pockets, pull them out, wipe them on his jeans, repeat. The street smelled faintly like rain, that stale dampness that clung to everything. He tried to focus on that instead of how his pulse thudded in his throat.
By the time he reached your building, the small, dizzy excitement he’d been holding onto was already starting to fade. The dull ache in his chest crept back in, the familiar one that whispered he was about to ruin everything again. You’d see right through him, see how broken, how pathetic he really was. You’d smile, sure, maybe even laugh, but then you’d realize he wasn’t worth the effort.
He stopped outside your door, knuckles hovering mid-air. His heart felt like it had sunk somewhere near his stomach, heavy and slow. For a moment, he thought about turning around, and just walking away before he could screw it up. But his hand moved anyway, knocking before he could stop himself.
The sound echoed softer than he expected. Too late now.
He caught himself glancing at his reflection in the hall mirror: a mess of uneven hair and tired eyes. He tugged at the edge of his hoodie, flattening out imaginary wrinkles, as if it mattered. Deep down, he hoped you’d be wearing something nice. Not because it would make the photos better, but because he wanted to remember the way you looked today. Wanted to keep it, like proof that for one moment, he wasn’t alone.
He told himself he was going to take pictures of the scenery like he’d promised. Streets, light, maybe the river if the sky held. But the truth was already there, sitting quietly in the back of his mind: he wanted a few photos of you. Just you. And he couldn't stop thinking about it as he waited for you to answer the door.
