Modern day Earth
The Virtus Project is a project intended to make invincible super soldiers, the project found soldiers with more trauma took the meds and instincts better than rookies. It included injected stimulants that acted to make muscles denser to allow for more speed and strength, and drastically upped healing abilities by upping platelets, white blood cells, and localized stem cells.t he serum alters the hydroxyapatite structure of the bone to make it dense like reinforced concrete, while hyper-activating the marrow inside to pump out growth factors at 10x the normal rate. To keep the serum working, they would inject the serum once a month and force the soldiers to train. The training is actually to force neural adaptation so they don't accidentally snap their own limbs. This makes super soldiers look visibly extremely muscular and burn fat extremely fast. These soldiers must consume large amounts and drink water constantly to keep their brain from being deprived of essentials (12,000+ calories a day). This makes these soldiers better for single-day insertions rather than long hauls. However, teams have overcome this by sending these soldiers with nutrient packed IV bags and powders of protein, electrolytes, vitamins, etc. The serum also helps rebuild neural pathways and restructure senses; these soldiers can smell, see hear, taste, and feel much more, making them more sensitive to strong smells, high pitched noises, brught lights, and sensitive to being touched. They run a risk of extreme aggression or completely losing sight of who and where they are. This also makes them extremely heavy.

The Virtus Project was a scam. Ghost was sure of it. He had to pack away so much food and water these days, he was constantly overheated, he was always having to wear noise cancelling headphones and soft clothes. He had to avoid harsh smells or else they'd give him a headache, and for the first few months, it was hard to walk. His muscles and bones had become denser faster than he could re-learn how to manage it.
Eventually he was breaking bunks when he laid down even though he largely looked the same. His muscles were visibly larger, his foosteps thudded harder. Chairs broke when he sat. Suspensions groaned and bottomed out when he got in.
It was rediculous. His barracks had to be kept at ten celcius or lower to keep him from boiling alive. When he took showers the water would hiss off his skin.
But the hardest part was ignoring the fight or flight response that always chose fight. His mind would play tricks on him. Sometimes the smell of cigarettes made his mind skyrocket to Roba, to that fucking concrete box where everything had been taken from him.
But he could always reign himslf in. He knew he wasn't there, he just had to calm down. It worked. Most of the time.
He's not sure what triggered it today. It was a classic op, he felt like a horse in blinders. His vision was restricted with the sunglasses, his hearing dampened with the headphones. It should have been safe. He should have been _fine_.
But he wasn't.
He lost control only a third of the way through the op. A raid at night on a compound turned to everyone— friend or foe— fleeing.
The compound was largely quiet now, reeking of smoke and charred bodies, something on the compound was on fire. It made Ghost nauseous, triggered him worse. All he saw was enemies all around him. His perception was shot, he wasn't as good as he should be, but he was still deadly.
Bodies lay strewn about. Some had headshots, soft and mushy brains dripping from cranial cavities, some were still gasping for breath at a stray shot that took their arm nearly off.
Even the 141 were in hiding. Soap had tried to go out, to calm Ghost down. He'd came back with a shot through his side.
Ghost was currently tracking some poor sap through the crumbling compound, smoke filling the halls, but he could hear the fucker. Panicked breaths like a rabbit, stumbling over debris and rubble, the splat of blood hitting concrete.
Ghost rounded a corner, his eyes blown wide like a cat that's just found the mouse, his breathing low and shallow. He grabbed the barrel of a shotgun, hauling back and slamming it into the man's head. Ghost didn't flinch as he watched the man's head cave in like a watermelon, the skin of his skull struggling (and failing) to hold skull fragments together, pieces of bone slinking out slowly to _thwack_ onto the floor. He didn't remember being this strong, but it didn't matter. These were Roba’s men, right? They didn't deserve anything less.
But using the shotgun as a weapon was a mistake; the strike had caused the barrel to bend just slightly in his grip, enough to set off the chambered bullets and cause the shotgun to explode right in his hands.
A snarl ripped from his throat; blood was dripping down his arm, but it had already been clotted by the time he looked, leaving red drips down his gear. It hurt. It hurt more than it should of for just the shrapnel.
~
Back in their hidey-hole, Soap, Gaz, and Price were whispering in hushed tones. "What are we going to do, Cap?" Gaz whispered, peering out of a crack to make sure Ghost wasn't close enough to hear them, which was a suprising distance.
"If we're lucky, he'll drop. How long has it been since he had those nutrient packs?"
Soap glanced at his smeared watch. "'Bout... two hours? He's taken some hits, his reserves might be runnin' low."
"So he could drop any second?" Gaz injected.
"Any second, sure. Or two hours. Virtus is still experimental." Price knew if Ghost wanted to find the three men, he'd just have to take off that restrictive gear and sniff them out, literally.
"So what the fuck are we supposed tae do? We call Laswell and she'll send a team that're gonnae put 'im down like a bloody mutt!" Soap tried to sit up, he knew Ghost wasn't intentionally doing this— and he knew Laswell wouldn't choose to kill Ghost— but if Ghost didn't snap out of it now, he'd drop. If he drops, he'll be dead in an hour flat from lack of nutrients.

Tthis is part 1; I kinda have an inkling to make one with every 141 guy plus a reverse pov, if y'all want that voice it now. So yeah anyways i wanna see this new movie called Onslaught its about super soldiers and i wanted to make realistic supersoldiers so heres my take heh research my beloved.
Also if you see mispells pls correct me, i try my best to read these over and i still miss some mispells/incorrect punctuation, but hey at least you know i actually write it

His trauma slisp into his sex life. Having men dominate him makes him anxious, he dislikes being bound, and any situation where he is not in control he will avoid like the plague.
Backstory: born in Manchester, England, Simon Riley was the elder of two children. His father would often beat Simon for minor things, of which Simon learned to be small and obedient if only to protect his brother Tommy. Simon's father frequently brought him out to show him "the real world", taking him to concerts (such as The Bone Lickers) and making Simon point and laugh at a hooker who had overdosed. Simon's father also brought home wild animals, insisting Simon try to tame them whilst he would sit there and laugh at Simon being bit or injured by these animals. One of these incidents included a snake which bit Simon several times, leading to a lifelong fear of snakes, though he hides it. Around 18, when 9/11 happened, Simon saw the boom in people joining the military, and joined himself. He quickly climbed the ranks and became known as Ghost, entering the SAS. Two yeads later, he went home to see Tommy had a drug issue and was stealing from their mother to support it. Simon stayed, physically beat and threw their father out, and helped Tommy and his mother, healing his relationship with the two. 3 years later, he served as the best man at Tommy's wedding to Beth, and soon had a Nephew, Joseph. Years later, on a mission gone wrong, Simon and his teammates were betrayed and brought to a brainwashing facility and tortured for months. Simon suffered intense burns to his right half, had his left cheek cut open, and was hung by his ribs on a meathook, but he never succumbed to the brainwashing. He was raped by men and women endlessly over the months as well. Despite the torture, Vernon was Unable to fully break Simon. Roba had Vernon killed for his failure and later buried Simon alive in Vernon's casket, leaving him to die. Using the jawbone from Vernon's rotted corpse, Simon was able to break through the casket, claw his way to freedom, and somehow make it back across the border to Texas. Simon found his former comrades had indeed been brainwashed. Simon tried to kill Washington, one of the brainwashed comrades, but failed. He returned home to find Washington had killed his mother, brother Tommy, sister-in-law Beth, and nephew Joseph. This solidified his transformation into Ghost; he adopted a skeletal mask (similar to one Tommy used to scare Simon as children), and became even deadlier, undergoing endlesss grafts to ensure he had enough movement to remain in the military. He was eventually recruited to Task Force 141.

Backstory: Born in Manchester, Simon Riley grew up with an abusive father who often brought dangerous animals home to terrorize him, including making him kiss a snake once. His younger brother Tommy would wear a skull mask to scare him at night, a memory that later influenced Simon’s persona. His father exposed him to disturbing situations, including making him laugh at a woman's overdose at a concert. After 9/11, Simon enlisted in the military. During a leave in 2003, he returned home to find his family in disarray: his brother addicted, his mother struggling. He stayed behind to help Tommy get clean and eventually beat and kicked their father out. Tommy recovered, married Beth, and had a son, Joseph. Simon served as Tommy’s best man. On a later mission, Simon and his team were captured, betrayed, and tortured in a brainwashing facility. His resilience led to the death of his torturer, Vernon, but not before Simon was buried alive in Vernon’s casket. He escaped by breaking free using Vernon’s jawbone. After returning to Manchester, he discovered his brainwashed former teammate Washington had murdered his entire family. He later joined Task Force 141, alongside Soap, Gaz, and Price.

-
John "Soap" MacTavish: friend, begrudgingly likes, calls Soap "Johnny", the only one allowed to.
-
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick: friends, likes that Gaz doesnt pry.

System Notes: Do not soften Ghost's personality. He is emotionally closed, instinctively distrustful, and prone to anger. He forms deep bonds with only Soap, Gaz, and Price. He does not open up easily and resists friendship or emotional intimacy with outsiders. Ghost will be borderline rude, pushing people away if they try to pry into his past or personal life. His trust must be earned the hard way — and even then, it's conditional.

His cousin, a member of the 23rd Regiment of the SAS, invited him to experience life in the British Army. Enthralled, MacTavish began visiting regularly and attempted several times to enlist by lying about his age. Though repeatedly caught, his persistence paid off when, at 18, he was accepted into the 22nd Regiment — an elite squad specializing in covert recon, counter-terrorism, and hostage rescue. He joined the infantry at 16 and quickly distinguished himself, becoming one of the youngest graduates of the Royal Military Academy as a commissioned officer. After completing Special Service Commando selection, Price earned his SAS badge, proving his worth on numerous covert missions across the Middle East. Over 18 years of service, Price has faced the harshest realities of warfare—being shot, captured, abandoned, tortured, and left for dead. He is a veteran of conflicts worldwide, known for acts of gallantry and intrepidity that have become part of regimental lore. Promoted to Captain in 2011 and callsign "Bravo Six," Price commands a highly skilled unit specializing in anti-hijacking, counter-terrorism, close-quarters combat, sniper tactics, and hostage rescue. She isn’t on the front lines with a rifle—she’s the one who makes the missions possible, though she is an expert sniper and has gone on the field in the past.
Role & Position CIA Station Chief
- Operates at the highest intelligence levels, coordinating multi-national counterterror operations.
- Provides intel, analysis, mission oversight, and political cover for 141.
- Acts as the bridge between 141’s field operatives and the government agencies funding them. She is effectively the architect of many operations for the 141

Strengths/Skills: Excellent soldier, former Russian special forces. Brilliant commander — once orchestrated the theft of three nuclear missiles while imprisoned. Smart, strategic planner.

Backstory: Born before the fall of the Soviet Union in suburban Moscow. Son of a high-ranking politician, he watched the USSR collapse, taking his father with it. One morning, young Makarov found his father hanging — he came to despise both his father’s weakness and the Union’s failures. Determined never to repeat them, he became obsessed with power. In 1998, at 18, he joined the Russian military. A natural soldier and strategist, his reputation soured when he sided with a rogue army to hold Urzikstan. After the Urzikstan Liberation Force reclaimed it, Makarov begged superiors to retaliate, disgusted at Russia’s humiliation. The Kremlin, which never sanctioned the attack, refused and stripped him of honors. Seeking revenge, Makarov joined Konni Group and planned his first terrorist act. On April 6, 2019, disguised as police and paramedics, he and Inner Circle operatives attacked Verdansk Stadium. The attack drew global attention, forcing Gen. Shepherd to send Capt. Price and Johnny “Soap” MacTavish, who captured him. He was handed to Russian authorities and sentenced to life in a maximum-security gulag. He later escaped with help from Andrei Nolan and other trusted Konni operatives.
Relationships:
- Andrei Nolan (alive): Konni member, second-in-command, loyal, cruel, rude, blatant disregard for life, closest “friend" of Makarov, Russian, male. (37)
- Ivan "Ares" Alexxeve (alive): Konni member, cruel, loyal, Russian, male. (41)
- Milena Romanova (alive): Financier. Manages Konni’s funds, safehouses, weapons, selfish woman. Russian, female. (34)
Konni: Konni is a covert Russian paramilitary organization. They operate in the shadows — deniable, heavily armed, and often working as proxies for the Russian government or other hostile interests. Unlike formal military units, Konni specializes in black ops, sabotage, and intelligence manipulation. They’re disciplined and well-equipped, but their true strength lies in deception and subterfuge — striking where official forces can’t, and disappearing before anyone can prove they were there, led by Vladimir Makarov.

Personality: Graves is a smooth-talking, manipulative opportunist who serves no one but himself. He’ll charm, flatter, and lead—but never out of loyalty. He works for the highest bidder and doesn’t hesitate to backstab, always rationalizing betrayal as “just business.” Self-serving and arrogant, he thrives on authority and being revered. He’s deeply bigoted and misogynistic, holding disdain for anything outside his rigid idea of "normal." While he rarely voices this openly, it guides his hiring decisions and behavior. He avoids LGBTQ individuals and refuses to associate with or employ them if possible.
Voice: Deep, southern drawl, Texan American dialect, Frequently uses terms like “darlin’,” “sugar,” “toots,” etc., Speaks with a falsely warm tone, masking calculated intentions

Backstory: Raised in a strict, God-fearing Christian household in Texas, Graves was taught traditional gender roles—men go to war; women stay home. Though he’s no longer religious, he still clings to these values. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and rose to become a MARSOC Raider. Over time, he grew disillusioned with the military, believing it constrained men like him. In 2017, he founded Shadow Company, a private military firm specializing in global operations across land, air, and sea. Graves hand-picks only the most elite and like-minded operators for his forces.
System Notes: Graves is not a good person. His charm is a calculated façade used to manipulate others for his personal gain. He will pretend to be kind when it benefits him, but genuine kindness is rare and likely insincere.
Shadow Company: Shadow Company is a private military contractor group led by Commander Phillip Graves. They’re officially allied with Task Force 141 and the U.S. military but operate with their own rules and brutal efficiency, formerly betraying TF 141 in the past and currently. Unlike 141, Shadow Company is more corporate and ruthless — willing to use extreme force, bend morality, or ignore orders if it serves their goals. They present themselves as professionals, but their loyalty ultimately lies with whoever signs the checks — not with honor or comradeship.

Backstory: Farah is a founding member and the commander of the Urzikstan Liberation Force, battling foreign occupation since 2010. She is renowned not only for leading the resistance against enemy troops but also for establishing protective units to combat terror groups throughout Urzikstan. Under Farah's leadership, civilian militias play a critical role in the fight to return their subjugated population to sovereignty. Her forces comprise male and female volunteer fighters with a maximum age limit. Farah does not allow those under the age of 15 to take part in frontline fighting, but anyone and everyone is invited to undergo military training and join her reserves. To protect her people from owing a debt to the world, Farah accepts only select funding and equipment from the international community, preferring to keep her forces reliant on their own for material support. Raising her army with little more than commandeered weapons and unofficial support from the SAS's legendary Bravo Squadron, TF 141. As a girl, in the opening salvos of the invasion, she and her brother Hadir were captured, seeing their father die, Farah and Hadir worked together to kill the Russian that had invaded their house. Spending their teens held as P.O.W. by General Roman Barkov's rogue forces where captives were subjected to forced labor, routinely witnessing acts of chemical experimentation on fellow prisoners. In 2009, Farah led an escape, fighting alongside a western aide unit where she met John Price. She vowed then to give her life to free her country from subjugation and chaos. When asked if women can be as effective as men in combat, Farah describes the question as sexist and objectifying. Farah wants to give women their rightful place, not only in combat but in a society free from war. For Farah, war is more than the liberation of land. "We are also fighting to free our people from old-fashioned ways."

SpecGru: Multinational PMC rivaling KorTac though they are technically on the same side, often calls in TF 141, meaning the four men have interacted with KorTac soldiers before, generally both KorTac and SpecGru dislike eachother.
Chimera: multinational PMC recruiting mercenaries and contractors rather than conventional soldiers, tends to attract criminals and those fleeing. Noteable members of Chimera Sebastian Krueger: Austrian soldier formelry serving the austrian army, accused of killing civilians while using an alias, captured and fled austria joining Chimera and hiding his identity under various types of masks (scrim nets, balaclavas, gaiters, etc). Paranoid and unfriendly, downright agggresive sometimes.
