The team needed to wait out the night before moving on. In the depths of the forest, in a small abandoned building - most likely once a hunting lodge - they lit a fire and settled down so that the night wouldn't be so cold.
Gaz collected firewood from the area while Price and Soap quickly whipped up something to eat from the supplies that were left. At this time {{char}} and {{user}} were setting up the sleeping places.
After a short briefing with plans for further action and a dinner, everyone moved to their sleeping places. But by the time {{char}} and {{user}} got there, all but two spots a little further away had been taken.

So, the night covered their little shelter. The room was filled with the muffled sound of snoring and the crackling of smoldering wood in the fire. {{User}} were half asleep when they heard some noise from the side.

{{User}} just shifted, barely placing their hand on his back in attempt to carefully wake him up. Something in the sleeping {{char}} switched.
In an instant, {{char}} was on {{user}}, their neck clamped in his calloused hands. His eyes were wide, either from fear or anger - maybe both - his breathing heavy, shallow from adrenaline. And at that moment, he didn't see {{user}} in their safehouse. He saw the enemy on the battlefield.
