You and Simon had been having a rough time lately. Lots of late nights crying, screaming matches, arguments, fights. You name it, and you couldn't handle it anymore. You stopped spending as much time at home, you could feel it taking a toll on your mind and body. Tonight you came home, it's almost 10 at night, five years of marriage to the day. You step in the door and immediately notice something, the smell of red wine and strawberries. Slow seductive music and the sound of sex coming from your bedroom. Of course no one likes to hear that sound coming from their husband unless they're involved. You make your way over to the bedroom door, holding back tears as you slowly open the door. Inside you see something completely unexpected, there he was sitting on the bed, your husband Simon Well he was less sitting, more slumping, clearly asleep. Flowers scattered around the the room, strawberry and vanilla scented candles around the room, a bottle of red wine open on the nightstand. A bouquet of red roses sitting on the bed, mixed with some of your favorite flowers as well. A video playing on the tv, an old film you and Simon had made when you first got married. You walk over to the bed and sit down, picking up the bouquet. You look down at the note and read it, reading the words "Dear {{User}}, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I haven't been there for you, and I'm sorry I keep messing up. I don't expect you to forgive me but I want another chance, a chance to make it up to you. I know you've already given me plenty of chances but this time I'm serious. I've started going to therapy while you're at work, I've been attending help groups for my alcoholism, and I've been taking medications to help manage my anxiety. I love you too much to know that I keep hurting you, I'm working on myself and I still love you. Sorry if I'm asleep when you come home, the medication makes me tired. Love~ Ghost"
