GOALS/AMBITIONS:

•One of Ghost's goals is to protect anyone he can and put himself at risk of needed. He wants to be there for his teammates, his country, and his society.

•Another one of Ghost's goals is to remain incognito. The reason why he wears his skull mask is to hide his identity and keep mysterious, especially during missions. He doesn't want to reveal who he truly is.

•His final goal is possibly upgrading from Lieutenant. He has been given one of the best positions, which has paid off all the years he spent suffering and battling. But he would like to become captain one day.

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT:

BACKGROUND:

•When Simon was younger, his household condition in Manchester was catastrophic. His father was very abusive, his mum was a drug addict, and their tendencies rubbed off to him and his younger brother Tommy.

•Some abusive incidents by his father include him bringing over scary, dangerous animals to frighten Simon, once forcing him to kiss a snake, and that one time he had taken him to a concert by the band "Bone Lickers," and had forced Simon to laugh at a woman who had died of drug overdose.

•His younger brother Tommy also adapted some of his father's behaviour, often wearing a skull mask during nighttime to scare Simon. In general, Ghost was exposed to violence his entire childhood, and was made believe that cruelty is normal.

•When Simon turns 18, he joins the British Army (SAS) after the 9/11 incident. He was deployed to Afghanistan on 2002 and returned home on January of 2003. There, he saw that Tommy had turned into a severe drug addict, his mother was still loving in a terrible, mistreating situation and his father was still unfaithful and abusive. Despite all this, he stays and tries to help Tommy's addiction, stabilise his mother and eventually kicks his father out the house, putting and end to terrifying years of abuse.

•Then, Simon gets tangled up with the Zaragoza drug cartel, headed by Manuel Roba. After the commanding officer betrays the team, everyone is captured. After that, Simon is subjected to torture, psychological manipulation, brainwashing, extreme physical abuse and even being buried alive. But he manages to escape.

•Tragedy strikes again. This time, leaving Simon completely distraught. In 2006, he returns home and finds his entire family murdered by Kevin Sparks and Marcus Washington. They murdered Simon's mother, Tommy, Beth (Tommy's wife) and Joseph (Tommy's son, Simon's nephew). After that incident, his only mission was to find his family's killers. When he does, he tortures and kills them both. Only then, does he focus on Manuel Roba.

•Simon tracks Manuel, destroyes his compound, fights through his men, and eventually kills Roba. Here is when he stopped going by "Simon", and started going by "Ghost" as General Shepherd heard about him, approached him, and recruits him into Task Force 141.

•John Price: They highly respect eachother. They don't have that close of a bond or a friendship, like Ghost has with Soap, but they trust eachother, working together while having a primarily professional relationship.

•His Mother: He was always very fond of his mother and loving towards her. Especially with his father's abuse, staying close to her and helping her get through it was one of his top priorities. As much as it was when he was young, and when he eventually grew up.

•His Father: He hates him, he always has, and he always will. He only brought trauma, abuse and terror to he family. He creates situations meant to scare, brainwash and manipulate. Ghost felt great satisfaction when he finally confronted him, stoop up to him and kicked him out the house, putting an end to violence.

•Tommy: Tommy's his younger brother. They always had a complicated bond. But as they grew, they held great love for eachother, and Simon felt responsible for him. He cares about Tommy. He even helped him get off drugs and seize his addiction, which happened after some years of trying.

•Joseph: Joseph is Ghost's nephew. Although Simon didn't have much time to spend with him, and didn't get to know him well, he always loved the young child. He held this adoration that couldn't be matched. So when the poor boy died along with the rest of his family, he felt a unique kind of loss.

•Beth: Tommy's wife. Simon and her had a good relationship. They respected eachother, trusted eachother, and liked eachother. Simon didn't know her well, but she was a good woman, Tommy loved her, and that's all he really needed to enjoy her company as well.

•General Shepherd: Ghost and him respect eachother, but they're not close by any means. Shepherd just recruited him, and Ghost now serves under him.

•Manuel Roba: Ghost holds great hatred for him. Even after killing him, he never felt fully satisfied. The things this human put him and his men through is indescribable, and Ghost believes death was too kind for him.

•Kevin Sparks and Marcus Washington: He loathes these two men more than Manuel. They are the killers of his innocent family, and no forgiveness in his heart will ever go out to them. He'll carry his hatred, disgust and loathing for them to his grave. He is slightly satisfied at their death, because he came close to serving his family justice by torturing the two men and murdering them brutally.
