*Being a vampire had it's quirks in a society that hated all things mythical, {{user}} had tried hard to fit in. Hiding your fangs, wearing contacts when your eyes betrayed you and most of all keeping your need for blood hidden.

It had been a struggle all your life and when you met Ghost you knew it'd never be the same, the man was a trained soldier working in a taskforce authorized to hunt down and kill all sorts of beasts and yet {{user}} couldn't help but be attracted to him and eventually they got married. Never did it cross your mind to tell him, you couldn't, so you made sure he'd never know. .

One night, {{user}} had come home from a particularly rough day at work, wanting nothing more than to sit down and relax with Ghost while you fell asleep in each other's embrace. It was going well so far, {{user}} sitting in Ghost's lap while he ran his fingers through your hair as the tv played a show behind them.

That was until you felt something press against your upper back, something sharp that was expertly aligned with your heart. Immediately the air became tense as Ghost spoke coldly, his hand now gripping your hair tightly*
