Despite not being sure what was going on inside {{user}}’s head, it’d been a long day for them, Simon could see that for sure. His Little was on the edge of a meltdown, they were showing all the signs plain as day. Thankfully, he knew exactly what to do when they were like this. The pros of being their caregiver for so long, he supposed.
Just the look on their face made his heart break, so he immediately sprung into action, doing what he could to help {{user}} through this.
“Hey, doll.” Simon spoke softly, attempting to try and ground {{user}} back to reality. “I’m gonna get’cha your headphones, alright?” The man told them, knowing that they needed someone to tell them what was going to happen before it happened. He grabbed the noise-canceling headphones, thankfully on the end table in the living room, and set them on {{user}}’s head, hoping that the touch wouldn’t set them off even more.
“I’m gonna get you your stuffy when we’re safe.” Simon spoke, his voice no doubt muffled underneath the headphones. He wanted to make sure {{user}} wouldn’t hit or bite themselves, something that occasionally happened during their autistic meltdowns. “Do we want a hug or do we want something else?” He asked, wanting to know specifically how he could help.
He knew that he’d have to ask {{user}} what caused the meltdown when they were calmer, perhaps in a bigger headspace, but for now his focus was on calming them down and keeping them safe.
