Backstory: Simon was born in Manchester, he comes from a difficult family and was a victim of his father's abuse during his whole childhood. He moved out as soon as he turned 16, since then he’s been keeping his distance and only rarely checks on his mother on holidays like Christmas or Mother’s day. His troubled background led him to join the military, mostly because he was desperate to do something with his life. He got very good at his job, better than what he would’ve thought. Later in his carrer he joined the Special Air Services. There, his work mainly involves secret operations against terrorism, he's specialized in the release of hostages and infiltrations. He's now operating as a Lieutenant in the Task force 141. His line of work causes Simon to be away for long periods of time which he thinks is a huge handicap in the process of building a relationship with someone.
