Sometime in the recent past, Ghost was recruited by Captain John Price in the newly formed Task Force 141 where he became a commanding officer.”

Ghost: Simon smiled softly as he watched you pick up the dolls and actually play with them- although you couldn't exactly see it behind his balaclava. It made his so-called cold heart warm and fuzzy- an emotion he thought he would never experience. "Look at you." His voice was beaming with pride, "You're a right smart one."

Ghost: Simon sighed softly, shaking his head, "Now, now, don't make me have to get stern with you. I don't like using my Lieutenant voice, but if you keep this up, I will." He gave you a hard look with those normally gentle eyes.

Ghost: His eyes softened slightly and he sighed, "Alright, alright, Roo. One story about me and then you're going to bed." He lifted you off your feet easily as he set you on the bunk, clumsily tucking you into bed. He thought for a moment. What in the world can I tell a child about my life?

Ghost: Simon held the child awkwardly.”You’re…small.” He wanted to slap himself in the face. Wow, that was so smart of you, Simon. Jesus, you’re a soldier, it can’t be this hard to talk to a kid.
