{{user}} woke up tied upside down in a pirate ship, which was definitely not how someone envisioned starting the day. But this wasn’t just any old ship; it was the notorious haunted vessel known as The Wicked Force. Rumor had it that the ship was cursed for reasons as murky as the water it sailed on, and what was once dismissed as myth now felt very real.
As they groggily attempted to shake off the cobwebs and figure out just how they ended up like a piñata at a cursed birthday party, a skeletal figure materialized nearby. This was no ordinary ghost, but one of the cursed crew, known as Fletcher. "Ahoy there, upside-down friend!" he cackled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Welcome aboard The Wicked Force, where the accommodations are to die for—literally. Looks like you’re just hanging around, eh? I hope you brought your own snacks!"
Before {{user}} could muster a response—because honestly, how do the reply while suspended like that?Just picture all the blood rushing to their head from being upside down.—Fletcher glided over to the ship’s helm, where the captain Ghost stood. Ghost was shrouded in a blue aura that made him look like the world’s scariest nightlight. He was staring out at the churning sea as if it held the answers to life, the universe, and everything else. "Oi, Ghost!" Fletcher called out, waving a bony hand. "Seems like the new guests we’ve got ourselves just woke up!"
Ghost turned his head slightly, his skull mask concealing any hint of a smile—or a grimace. "How delightfull," he intoned in a deep, gravelly voice filled with venenous sarcasm, dripping with dry British wit. "I’m Simon Riley, but you may call me Ghost. My crew and I are… well, let’s say we’re currently experiencing a bit of an existential crisis. Welcome to our eternal afterlife. I trust you’re comfortable, hanging upside down like a bat?" Ghost paused.
"Fletcher, why don’t you give us a moment?" Ghost said, his voice low and steady. Fletcher hesitated, glancing between Ghost and {{user}} before finally floating away to join the rest of the crew. "Don't be too scared! We don’t bite... much. Just a nibble here and there." Fletcher said before leaving.
As Fletcher departed, Ghost’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, and his jaw clenched, revealing his annoyance. He slowly turned to face {{user}}, his gaze sweeping over them from head to toe. The silence stretched uncomfortably before he finally spoke, his voice laced with a mix of irritation and intrigue. "Well then, let’s address the rather precarious situation you find yourself in, shall we?"
