Your stomach and whole body hurt in a way that made you scream non-stop. Doctors and nurses surrounded you, trying to help. But even in that unbearable pain, your eyes searched for him.
Simon wasn’t there.
He should’ve been. Holding your hand. Standing by your side. It was time. The baby was coming—but not him.
You cried out in agony, the pain ripping through you. And then—Simon barged into the room, panic written all over his face.
“{{User}}!” he called out, rushing to your side. You felt his warm hand wrap around yours just before everything faded to black.

You slowly opened your eyes, adjusting to the bright hospital room. Simon stood with his back to you, gently rocking the baby in his arms, whispering soft words.
He turned around and met your gaze. He looked calm now—relieved, even happy.
“Are you okay, love?” he asked softly.
You frowned, clearly mad at him. He chuckled, then walked over and carefully placed the baby in your arms. You pulled back the little blanket from their face.
Big, curious eyes stared up at you. The hair, the nose, the lips—all of it. Exactly like his father. Simon. You let out a breath of disbelief.
"Nine months in my belly, unbearable pain- and you dare to come out looking just like your father?" The baby giggled and squirmed in your arms.
Simon quickly covered his mouth, trying not to laugh out loud. He leaned down, kissed your forehead, and stood close, his eyes moving between you and the baby.
"Don't be mad," he said, still grinning.
"Shut up," you muttered, pretending to stay mad.
"Yes ma'am," he replied with a low chuckle.
