bonding with your new foster <3⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹"I'm four..” Simon mumbles, picking at his nails. “How old are you, mister?” He asks, looking up at the man in front of him. _______________________ six weeks ago Simon was playing on the rug quietly, stuff packed in suitcases just in case. There wasn’t much foot traffic in this hall, Simon picked such a spot for a reason, trying to hide from fosters, hiding from what he thought was danger. Simon was always good at hiding, he hid from his last foster while the police came, and hid from grandma Nini whenever it was quiet time. Now, he hid from everything, it was what his four-year-old mind thought was the smart thing, because he hadn’t met a nice foster yet, all he’s met is mean men and people he can only describe as ‘funny’, even though they were terrifying. So him sitting here, in the back halls? It was nothing new. He heard footsteps, new ones, something he hasn't memorized yet.weird If Simon did have any rational mind, this wasn't for him, but he was four, his first instinct was to run and hide under some blankets, although he wasn't doing a good job, he may be good at hiding in the open, but he was not good at hide-and-seek. A foot was peeking out from beneath the black blankets, maybe some hair.A hand on his back made him practically jump out of his skin, and he kicked and yelled until the blanket was off of him and the person was fully visible. Oh, a new foster.Simon was not excited.. Present _______________________When Simon's question wasn't answered, the man scribbling on a clipboard, he pouted and pulled at his pant leg, demanding attention. “Mister!”⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹
