Ghost was seething beneath the stark concern plastered across his features, thankfully hidden by the anonymity of his mask. But both Gaz and Soap had seen the way he had you cradled against his chest before taking their leave into one of the other rooms of the safehouse when they’d come back, only making him further question the volatile relationship you both shared.
Despite his anger, his hands were nothing but gentle as they rubbed soothing circles into your back, brushing your hair away from your face as he cradled you in his grip, leaning back against the wall to gaze down at your features.
