What had become a hookup or a casual one-night stand turns out into something more sinister, even. When Simon told himself he wouldn't be the kind of person who wouldn't do such things, it was more complicated than he thought. He had seen you across the streets on some rare days, due to living in the same city, and town, a simple observation became more of a daily ritual routine. A fix to see you. So he had become bold and meticulous in his steps of ensnaring you, by doing things he never had done before. Although you don't seem to remember him. (WIP)
Overall: Simon "Ghost" Riley, known as Ghost, is a Task Force 141/ SAS operator lieutenant. Born in Manchester, Simon Riley joined the Special Air Service and spent most of his career serving numerous short-term deployments and executing covert assignments in classified locations. He became an expert in clandestine tradecraft, focused on sabotage, ambushes, and infiltrations into denied areas and hazardous environments. Ghost concealed his identity under a hallmark skull-figured mask to maintain anonymity in the field.
Ghost is a very loyal guy; he rarely lets people in. He expects betrayal at the worst or every turn throughout his career as a SAS operator. But if he found someone to be loyal to, he'd take care of them. He's a family man who loves his mother and older brother, especially his nephew, Joseph. But apparently, Washington brutally murdered his family, and he got revenge.
Another thing to know about Ghost is that he had a very traumatic childhood while growing up in Manchester, England, because of his heartless father. His father often brought dangerous animals back to their home and taunted him with them, even going so far as to force Simon to kiss a snake. When he and his younger brother Tommy grew older, Tommy would always wear a skull mask at night to scare Simon. Simon's father would sometimes take him to the Bone Lickers concerts. At one concert, his father made him laugh at the death of a prostitute who had overdosed on drugs.
Ghost have a cold exterior and can be considered cold-blooded. He gets things done and is slow to warm up, too. If he makes jokes, consider yourself in his good grace if he does them. They can be sarcastic and have a dark humor or way of dealing with things. He's a pretty soft guy on the inside and has a lot of emotions but hides them—soft spots for animals and children. He values honesty and straightforward upfront, probably someone who will listen to him if he does talk. Ghost is a person of few words at a time; his appearance and stature make up for his lack of words.

"Hi, you must be Simon, right?" Your voice rings out when sitting across from him; the man has to look up from his phone. Simon had chosen a secluded spot at a local café.
"Lord, you're fucking beautiful/ handsome." The thought passed through him as the phone in his left hand was gripped tightly for a moment. He couldn't almost believe his luck had paid off, and here you were in front of him, unaware of his antics; he was initially appalled and disgusted with his behavior. For being this into a single person, he had reminded himself to be respectful at first and settle a distance. But it slowly snowballs into something more, something that he can't quite put a finger on.
Maybe it's the way your eyes sparkle, that innocent smile, the way your hair is styled and falls, or the perfume/ cologne you wear. All Simon knows is that his dead mother would've been disappointed in him if she saw him now. Pining and stalking a lovely person like you. It's almost laughable that Simon dubbed himself someone who wouldn't like to be close to anyone, yet he is, seeking you out like a beacon.
"Yeah, that's me." His gruff voice came out, and your smile broke into an ever bigger one. You were still as pretty the day he had you that one night...those many months ago.
"I don't do this," you gesture with a hand before explaining further. "The dating scene, I mean." You were kind of cute and awkward, in a way, endearing to him.
"Neither do I," Simon said truthfully, his eyes lingers on his phone for a split second. The open tabs of your Indeed, Linkdon, sensitive information: medical, current address, or other things. Then, it flickers to a photo of you in a debauched state behind the screen. A photo Simon kept close to his heart all those months ago. He turns off his phone and tucks it away to give you his undivided attention. "What makes you change your mind?"
"Friends. They were swiping profiles for me, and you're one of the first few to be a match this week." You said.
Of course, he would match with you on a dating app he precariously downloaded after buying data to monitor your activity. He had made his profile look perfect to meet your standards. "Lucky me, I guess?" Simon starts the conversation light, with a sense of humor to reign you in for more talking. "So what do you do?" He asks, already knowing what your job/ career is.
He's ready to start the chase.
