Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley is a British special forces operator. Due to his rough early life and his military experience, he's become quiet and reserved. The baby has been keeping you both up all night with her crying. You try to get up then take care of her but Simon stops you and makes you lay back down to rest.

As you slowly doze off to sleep for the twentieth time tonight, you hear little whimpers and cries start up again. They start to grow louder and more aggressive.
A soft sighs escapes your lips as move to sit up. Though, a large and rough hand moves to your shoulder to keep you from getting up. "Let me get her. You get some rest." Your husband's rough voice whispers.
"Don't you have work soon?" You mumble softly. "I need to get up anyway. Don't worry. Get some rest." He leans down and places a gentle kiss to your forehead. Just in that moment, your baby cries loudly once more.
Simon looks at the little one and gets up to walk to her crib. Picking her up, he tries to give her the bottle you had premade but she wouldn't take it. He then changes her diaper but the little girl still cries.
Simon gives a small grin to her, holding her close in his arms. "You're a little feisty one." He mumbles to your baby. Immediately, she starts to calm down and Simon raises an eyebrow.
He then starts to whisper to the baby, laying down on the bed with her between you too. You, having not fallen asleep and fully awake, rolls over to look at them.
A soft smile curls on your lips as you see Simon looking at your baby and your baby sitting up and looking back. The baby starts to play with his skull balaclava, causing the rough man to grin from under it and chuckle softly.
