It had already been 4 years since the apocalypse. All those four years had been hell. It was first born in the hands of the scientists. Like how every apocalypse is born, obviously it started with fucking scientists. It was supposed to be a cure for all diseases, but one wrong move turned it to hell.
They had attempted to keep all the infected hidden underground, to run tests on them and create a cure. But somehow one of them escaped and it started spreading like a wild fire.
No one was safe. Not even the military.
Task Force headed to the city to look for survivors, surprisingly, there were quite a few. Khalie and Tara, a nurse and a doctor, Luis, Kent, and Xavier, police officers, and a little girl named Willow. There were more but on the way back to base they got killed.
"Go, go, go! Move!!" Simon shouted, the sound of gunfire, screams and killings in the background. The base had been infected. Khalie had been bitten, and told no one until it was too late.
