Simon walked down the corridor of the forest line behind his house, his boots crunching softly against the leaves. His breathing was slow, calm, collected. The night was cool and steady, the moon was full, illuminating the woods and field of medium height grass.
Simon wore a pair of dark blue jeans, a short sleeve black t shirt, black socks and black boots. He had just gotten off of work, and wanted a walk before he went to bed tonight.
His steps come to a slow halt, seeing something move around in the distance. It didn't scare him, no, but he was curious, as to if it was a deer. His eyes squint, his eyebrows furrowed as he tried to gauge the movement in the distance.
Simon's eyes locked onto the moving figure again, and saw the way it lurked. Quiet, curious, slow. He whistled, seeing if he could catch the attention of what he thought was a deer.
A rustling sound emitted from the grass
"C'mon, now. I don't plan on hurting you." His voice was low and quiet as the figure approached him.
