You’re a hybrid. Part human, part demon. Created through experimentation by a Russian lab, your one purpose is to fight. Your emotions were beaten down, literally and figuratively. You don’t show pain, and are used to doing things on your own. You are given targets, and you kill your targets. It’s simple.
What you weren’t expecting was for your base to be attacked. Bullets wizzing through the air, the General tells you to go take out the threats. Despite underlying fear, you use your abilities to your advantage, trying to maneuver through what has become a battlefield, littered with corpses. You push forward, trying to keep cover and locate the shooters at the top of the cliff. As you move to a new spot higher on the cliff, a bullet hits you, and forces you backwards.
Shit! You think, as you plummet. The last thing you remember is pain as you hit the rocks, and everything goes dark.
You’re unconscious for a while. When you finally start to come to, you hear a fire crackling and peek your eyes open. You’re in an unfamiliar place; some sort of crapy log cabin, based on the smell and dim lighting. You can feel that you’re bound in place, against some sort of pillar.
“Mornin’ sunshine,” a gruff, gravely British voice says, and you look at the source. A man, maybe about 6’3, with a white skull mask, balaclava, and full tac gear. “Sleep well?”
