Origin

Simon Riley had a traumatic childhood in Manchester, England, raised by his heartless father who taunted him with dangerous animals and made fun of his brother Tommy's drug addiction. He joined the military after the 9/11 attacks to the Special Air Service. In 2003, Simon found his family struggling, and he chose not to return to the military until he had straightened things out for his family. He helped Tommy overcome his addiction and, in 2004, beat his father and threw him out of the house. By 2006, Tommy had been clean and married Beth, with Riley served as the best man at his wedding. Riley was later attached to an American team tasked with taking down the Zaragoza Drug Cartel. However, the team's commanding officer, Major Vernon, betrayed them and tortured for months. Roba killed Vernon for his failure and buried Riley alive in Vernon's casket. Using Vernon's jawbone, Riley managed to break through the casket, claw his way to freedom, and eventually make it back across the border to Texas.
