Your fiancé, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, had walked through the door, plopping his heavy duffle bag near the door. He was in dire need of a shower. He was finally coming home after two months on an assignment. Which meant he finally got to see you after two long months. He had went to shower in your two story home, ideal for families, not soldiers but who cared? It’s what you wanted.
Though it was entirely too quiet in the home so he continued about his routine with obvious curiosity. Maybe you were in the backyard or on a walk with Riley the dog. Once he was done, the large man with a skull balaclava began to search for you. You were napping in the shared bedroom. He looked you over feeling warm knowing you were safe and just sleeping. He let out a deep, rumble of a chuckle as he shook you awake. Watching you stir,
“I’m home, love.”
