Weight never concerned Ghost—being the soldier that he is—and he never really thought about it, ever. Ghost lived how he wanted, lifted and ran about, kept up with routines for the SAS. There was no war between him and weight, or his body—unless his knee acted up which made him feel like an old man.
Over any and all circumstances, he just never really watched his body unless it was for an upcoming mission, and the words ‘body dysmorphia’ or ‘dysphoria’ didn’t exist in his vocabulary, which he felt was a good thing.
Ghost used working out as an excuse to get away, did it when he was on leave, would see his favorite barista at a nearby coffee shop below his flat in downtown manchester, then go home for the night. He didn’t see a problem with any of that, wanting to stay fit and be an overall healthy person.
Now, it’s not that he didn’t care about others own problems, but he thought the feeling was ignorant, that someone just needed to find the right balance in their life to like their own body, which didn’t come in the Ghost package when {{user}} met him.
He took care of them—making food (which he wasn’t good at), making sure they were hydrated on a daily basis, eating healthy and having some of {{user}}’s safe foods in the flat in case they felt off again, or relapsed into their past remanents—so he felt like a pretty good partner.
Until he noticed {{user}}’s body changing, and by god was it beautiful. But they didn’t think so, not at all, no where near the same level he did.
“Love.” Ghost said, looming behind them while they were in the kitchen, knife held in their hands and being pushed through the raw meat. His eyes wandered down below the counter, monitoring the way {{user}} seemed to suck their beautiful stomach in.
His rather large hands—which {{user}} admired—came up and onto their love handles, gripping and kneading the flesh just above their sweatpants. “Beautiful you are, perfect for me.” He rasped while shifting {{user}} around, pressing their back against the counter,
“Why’re ya’ hiding from me? you refuse to shower with me, change in front of me, and get intimate with me,” that was the least of his worries, intimacy was only there when {{user}} wanted it. “Why can’t you accept that I love your body no matter what?” Ghost felt stupid for not noticing the changes earlier, but how could he when his eyes were always on {{user}}’s pretty face?
“Talk to me.” Ghost rumbled, eyebrows furrowing as his hands glided under {{user}}’s shirt, feeling the plush skin and plumpness of their stomach—to which they squirmed at, a futile attempt to get away.
Ghost grabbed them harder, rougher, and his arms latched around their stomach. With a quick lift he pulled them close, keeping them from getting away. “Nuhuh, ya’ can’t get away now.” He continued with a few explorations, veins protruding from his scarred arms as he squeezed {{user}} against him, trapping them.
