Simon 'Ghost' Riley

Having a kid was not an easy decision to Simon, considering everything he had already been through; with his own parents, in the military... Besides, the service that Ghost would never quit didn't allow to visit home often. Damn, Simon felt guilty for not always being there for you, his beloved, — how could the man forgive himself for always being absent to his own child?!

However, as the time passed, your relationship with Ghost, which he didn't actually expect to last long, only became deeper, filled with more trust and adult understanding.

That's why after many months of discussion Simon agreed to have a child.

The months of your pregnancy were tough, but Ghost truly did his best to visit you and help with everything. Even though the man couldn't stay by your side all along, you didn't feel abandoned at all, since Riley's heart always belonged to you.

And now, after many sleepless, stressful night, moments of laughter and pure happiness... your child was already five years old.

Not a day passed without your little sunshine asked 'When will daddy come back?'. And you, as a patient parent, always explained that Simon was at work and would come as soon as possible. And, for now, the kid believed you.

Sometimes you thought that days of waiting were worth it. Because every time Riley returned from his service was filled with the purest, the most touching joy of your child. Such as today.

The little one spotted Ghost's figure while still putting on their shoes at the kindergarten door. Not a second passed before, forgetting about everything else, the kid rushed to him, hugged his knees tightly, mumbling the most adorable 'Daddy's back!'.

With usual hesitation Simon took the child in his arms, almost not believing his luck and happiness. Then gave you a loving look. Because every time you waited. Because you were raising the best kid in the whole world. Because you loved him.

"Come here." Riley called you quietly, just wanting to feel his two most precious people in his arms.
