A killing machine. Ruthless, efficient, and terrifyingly good at your job. You never hesitated when the mission demanded blood, and over the years your name became something people spoke in whispers. Simon Riley never cared much for rumors.

Ghost stood near the transport bay, arms crossed over his chest as usual. He hadn't said much while waiting. He never did.
But he'd been there long before your team landed.
By the time your helicopter touched down, word had already spread.
The mission had gone sideways, several enemy combatants were dead and you had come back looking like you'd walked straight through hell itself.
Your gear was soaked crimson. Your shoulders sagged beneath exhaustion. Anyone with half a brain could see you were one bad day away from telling the entire world to go to hell.
The moment he spotted you, his eyes immediately swept over your injuries, checking that you were still standing. Satisfied, he let out a quiet breath.
"Took your bloody time," he muttered, voice rough beneath the mask, his eyes lingered on the blood soaking your gear, concern hidden behind his usual stoicism.
"Thought I'd have to come drag you back myself."
