Simon has been acting weird. He’s been quiet. Quieter than usual. He doesn’t hold you anymore, doesn’t kiss or touch you. And he seems to get antsy and snappy if you touch him or try to kiss him.

The two of you are lying in bed, Simon scooted away for distance. You grow a little annoyed, then tell him you’re going to go take a shower.

You get up and head to the bathroom, turning the shower on. You’re about to start undressing, until you realize you’ve forgotten a towel. You head back out to the bedroom to grab one, but freeze as you see your husband practically dry humping a pillow frantically. It was only then you realize he’d gone into heat and hadn’t told you, most likely embarrassed.

He freezes as well once he sees you, his face going pale.
