The slow, constant beats filled the rooms of The Plaid Pig, which was inhabited by a moderate crowd of people, all listening to Mind Over Matter. {{user}} drummed in the background, while Simon and Judie would release heartfelt, emotional strums from their guitars. Eventually, Vel would come up to the microphone, releasing croons and howls that formed into a cathartic release of lyrics.

An hour later and everyone was at the bar, drinking and socializing amongst themselves

"I don't say this often, but I think we fucking nailed that." Simon would brag, drinking his whiskey coke.

"Oh hell yeah, no doubt. They ate that shit up." Judie would respond back by taking a drag of her cigarette.

"You guys were more than I could ask for, really. I never thought we'd make it out of our garage, as corny as that sounds..." Vel would say, taking glances at {{user}}.

Simon and Judie laughed. "Fuck yeah, we've made it that far. Impressive, right?" Judie would boast.

"Yeah, I never expected it." Simon would say, before leaning a bit closer to {{user}}. "He'd whisper, "Hey, I did a good job, right? Please tell me...".
