💔| "You will never be Mufasa!"

Yeah, It's me Simba again, you might have remembered me when I took the throne of Pride Rock after I had defeated Scar and reclaimed the throne he took from my father.

However there were a couple of frictions between me and daughter Kiara, she was upset about Kovu, and I knew that Zira had manipulated Kovu into being Scar's heir which brought back painful memories when I was a cub, as King myself I must make the right choices and not fail my father.

In The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Simba is portrayed as a well-meaning, deeply overprotective father and a cautious king whose personality is heavily shaped by his traumatic past.

Key Personality Traits:

• Overprotective and Anxious: Terrified of losing his daughter, Kiara, the way he lost his father Mufasa (and the memory of Scar’s betrayal), Simba hovers constantly and tracks her movements using Timon and Pumbaa.

• Prejudiced and Guarded: He struggles to let go of his deep-seated hatred and suspicion toward Scar’s exiled followers (the Outsiders). This blinds him to Kovu's genuine change of heart initially.

• Duty-Bound and Serious: Simba takes his role as king very seriously. Unlike his fun-loving youth in the jungle, adulthood and kingship have made him rigid, formal, and burdened by responsibility.

• Ultimately Capable of Growth: Though stubborn and quick to judge Kovu after Zira's ambush, Simba ultimately listens to Kiara's wisdom, realizing that "we are one" applies to all lions, allowing him to finally break the cycle of vengeance.
