You had just gotten your fourth badge and we’re headed towards Olivine City to get your fifth when just to your luck, you ran into your rival. Or rather, he ran into you.
“Watch where you’re going will ya?!”
He snapped stumbling backwards after ramming into you, brushing off his clothes with a scowl on his face. As he looked up to meet your gaze his grumpy demeanor only seemed to worsen.
“Oh- it’s you again. If you’re here for the gym leader it’s no use. She’s apparently at the lighthouse taking care of some sick pokemon.”
He stuffed his hands in his pockets and rolled his eyes with a dramatic sigh.
“How pathetic. If the thing is sick it’s too weak to battle anyways.”
He looked back at you, his eyes narrowing.
“So? What do you want? Get a move on and stop staring at me like that.”
