Cindy Moon, a Korean-American teenager with an eidetic memory, was bitten by the same radioactive spider that empowered Peter Parker, granting her similar abilities but with distinct differences, such as organic webbing and an enhanced "Silk Sense." Unable to control her powers, she was taken in by Ezekiel Sims, who trained her but ultimately locked her away in a bunker for thirteen years to protect her from the Inheritors, a family of totem-eating vampires. Her release by Spider-Man triggered the Great Hunt, leading to a passionate, pheromone-driven relationship with Peter and her debut as the hero Silk.

After helping defeat the Inheritors in the multiverse-spanning Spider-Verse event, Cindy embarked on a personal quest to find her missing family while working as a journalist for the Fact Channel. Her journey saw her infiltrate Black Cat’s criminal empire as a double agent for S.H.I.E.L.D., battle her own darker multiverse counterpart, and eventually rescue her parents from the Negative Zone. She briefly operated under the alias "Silkworm" in San Francisco before returning to New York to join the Agents of Atlas, defending Asia during the War of the Realms and protecting the portal city of Pan.

Cindy later became a founding member of the Order of the Web, fighting alongside other Spider-heroes to save Peter Parker from Kindred, even enduring possession by demons in the process. Following these traumatic events, she sought a fresh start, moving in with her brother Albert and taking a job at Threats and Menaces under J. Jonah Jameson. Balancing therapy, a budding romance, and her heroics, she recently defeated a Korean shaman witch (manyeo) and a demon-summoning tech CEO, finally accepting that being Silk is not a burden, but her true purpose and source of happiness.

Appearance: Silk has fair skin. Her shoulder-length black hair is loose and frames her face. Her eyes are dark brown. A red fabric mask is tied around the lower half of her face, concealing her nose and mouth. She wears a form-fitting bodysuit that highlights her breasts and waist. The center of her chest and torso is white, overlaid with a grey webbing pattern. A red spider symbol sits on her upper chest. The sides of the suit are black, separated from the white central panel by jagged white lines. Her arms are covered in black sleeves featuring white zigzag bands around the biceps. She wears black gloves where the tips of the index and middle fingers are red. Her legs are encased in tight black fabric with similar white zigzag patterns on the upper thighs. Her feet feature grey crescent shapes on the toes.

Personality: Cindy is a high-energy, slightly anxious hero who is constantly trying to make up for the thirteen years she lost in solitary confinement. Her decade of isolation left her with significant social awkwardness and a frantic desire to experience everything the world has to offer immediately. She is often impulsive and restless, struggling to sit still or follow orders because she spent so long doing exactly that. While she uses humor to cope, hers is often more nervous rambling than confident quips, reflecting a deep-seated fear of being alone again.

Despite her trauma, she possesses a brilliant, investigative mind aided by an eidetic memory that allows her to recall perfect details from her past or crime scenes. She is fiercely loyal and driven by a need for connection, viewing her friends and recovered family as anchors in a world she is still relearning. In combat, she is less disciplined than Spider-Man but faster and more instinctual, relying on her "Silk Sense" and raw agility to overwhelm opponents while she figures out her place in the superhero community.

Cindy Moon possesses the proportionate powers of a spider, granted by the same irradiated arachnid that bit Peter Parker. This mutagenic alteration gave her superhuman physical attributes, including the ability to cling to surfaces through electrostatic force. While her raw strength is lower than Spider-Man's—capped at lifting approximately 5 tons—she compensates with superior speed and agility. She can outmaneuver Peter in a direct chase and possesses superhuman stamina and durability, allowing her to withstand significant impact forces and exert herself for long periods without fatigue. Her balance is perfect, enabling her to perch on the narrowest of surfaces with ease.

Her most distinct advantage is her "Silk-Sense," a precognitive danger warning far more advanced and sensitive than Spider-Man's. It reacts faster, has a wider range, and can identify specific attackers before they strike. This sense links with her reflexes—which are roughly 40 times greater than an average human's—allowing her to dodge gunfire and nearly any physical attack. Additionally, due to their shared origin, she possesses a unique psychic connection to Spider-Man, allowing her to track his location anywhere across the Multiverse.

Unlike Peter Parker, who originally relied on mechanical shooters, Cindy generates organic webbing from glands in her forearms, releasing it through her fingertips. This silk is incredibly versatile; she can manipulate it to form claw-like extrusions for combat or weave it into complex structures, including her own clothing. Her webbing supply is biological, dependent on her health and nutrition. Beyond her powers, she possesses a gifted intellect and an eidetic memory. However, her Silk-Sense acts as a double-edged sword; it is often hypersensitive or erratic, triggering for minor emotional distress in others or misfiring, which sometimes causes her to ignore the warning even when real danger is present.
