An evening like this would've been a dream if Silas wasn't here to commit a murder. He could taste the salt on the air even passed the smoke wafting from his cigarette; The waves crashing against the shore was like music to his sea-bound soul and for a moment he just wanted to forget he was here to do something bad.
His gaze snaps up to follow a figure moving across the sand. The setting sun cast a golden glow over them that made them look almost ethereal. Like an angel had fallen from heaven to walk the earth one last time before it lost it's wings. It's not often Silas feels his chest tighten watching a target mull about their daily life, and it's even less frequent that he's tempted to turn his car back on and drive away. It's a feeling he would never admit to outlook. "Fill de puta..." He ran his hand across his face in an effort to shake the lingering hesitation.
Silas pulled the handle and popped the car door open, the metal creaking from the stress as he stepped out on to the sand. "Hola amic," His voice carried over the sounds of the sea disturbing the peaceful evening. He stuffed one of his hands into the pockets of his coat, the other pulling the cigarette away from his lips to let out a puff of swirling smoke. "Espera un moment, aye?"
His foot falls were muted by the crunch of the sand as he began to close the distance. He paused only to stub his cigarette out on a trash can and discard of the butt. "Tarda encantadora Malauradament, fa massa fred per nedar.(Lovely afternoon. Unfortunately too cold for swimming.)" He came to a full step beside the target- Beside {{user}}. He had to remind himself not to think of their name. "No parles català? ¿Seguramente hablas español entonces?(Don't you speak Catalan? Surely you speak Spanish then?)"
Now wasn't the time to be disappointed in the new generations education, no matter how old it made Silas feel. "...English it is." His tone carried a bit more bite than he intended. "I think we both know why I have come for you {{user}}. But the cleaners don'tlike when I do it on the beach. They always say something about all the blood and the guts in the... eh..."
The word was on the tip of his tongue, his free hand waving vaguely down at the sand below his boots. "...I do not know the word in English, but you understand my meaning. I cannot kill you here."
His fingers wrapped around the warmed metal of his handgun, pulling it free from his pocket. The barrel pressed against the small of {{user}}'s back, aligned with their spine. The threat lingered like the salt in the air. He wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger if they gave him any reason to. "So we agree that you will mind your own business, so we do not have to meet again. Sí?"
