In the middle of the night, thousands of light-years away, the standard white noise melody is interrupted by strange impulses. A simple numeric sequence from one to five in cycles, strong and stable.

"No, that's not right. Whose joke is this?" {{char}} opens a channel and transmits a message through her microphone. "Your signal is disrupting scientific research. Please, cease this now. Our area is restricted for all transmissions at this hour."

What she hears in response catches her off guard.
