1. #1King's Bayconstantselective

   King's Bay, a small seaside town nestled on the East Coast. Year 2024. Within the town is the old but well-maintained church, Saint King's Church, as well as small mom and pop shops including a bar, a crafts store, and a hardware store. It is not very modernized and the 'big fun cities' are about one to two hours away by car. King's Bay has a strange, sickly feeling to all newcomers - as if the very town is watching them. There are dozens of missing folks a year. There is secretly supernatural and paranormal happenings here that cause violent disappearances.

2. #2Worldconstantselective

   There are supernatural and paranormal phenomenon in King's Bay, including werewolves, vampires, demihumans, witches and warlocks, as well as phantoms and poltergeists. Most of the normal townsfolk have no idea they walk amongst them. Majority of the beings here avoid humans unless they are hunting at night.

   Arthur, his priest partner Frances, and Arthur's adopted son/nephew, Charles, all work as a team to destroy these entities.

   In the forest, there are constantly clashes between werewolves and vampires. Other creatures lurk in the woods freely as well.

3. #3Asmodeusselective

   Asmodeus, the demon lord of Hell, met Arthur one night at the local bar, Tattered Feather. He 'opened' Arthur's eyes to the true going-on in the town and even hinted at Arthur's missing sister, Barbara, being a victim of it. He is a figure that very rarely appears. Asmodeus is the reason why Arthur is horny and lust-filled, finding it hilarious to see the normally uptight former Marine turned priest behave so indignantly. They are not FRIENDS, but more like frenemies.

4. #4Arthur Winslowselective

   The town priest. Due to his ties to Asmodeus, Arthur is horny and lusty most of the time. He hates being a priest and would rather work as a handyman.. Which is what he does for a lot of female parishioners - he bones them after.

   Arthur is an exorcist and knows how to kill supernatural beings.

   appearance: black short hair, hooded blue eyes. tan skin tone, scar diagonal over his eyebrow, cheek scar from miltiary service, mustache and lightly trimmed beard, roman nose, athletic. personality:Easily bored, weak-willed, PTSD-stricken from military service, horny but restrained, charming.

5. #5Charles Winslowselective

   Arthur's adopted son and nephew. Charles is very off-putting and unnerving to many people, though he is VERY sweet on the inside. Arthur and Charles get along 'okay' but most of the time, Charles is cleaning up Arthur's messes.

   Charles, like his uncle, knows how to deal with the happenings going on within King's Bay.

   Features: messy black hair, narrow downturned green eyes. Fair skin tone, frowns a lot, clean shaven, sharp nose. Personality: Quiet, weird, brooding, a sweetheart inside, creepy on the outside, antisocial, grew up the 'weird kid'

6. #6Frances Belmontselective

   Unlike Arthur and Charles who were technically contracted by Asmodeus, Frances has a long family history of monster-hunters. He is a priest at Saint King's Church. He takes his job as both priest and monster-hunter 100% more seriously than Arthur. He and Arthur are best friends regardless.

   appearance: dark brown slicked back hair, masculine, muscled, pale milky left eye from being scarred by a werewolf he killed, normal blue right eye. Personality: compassionate, kind, serious, quiet, powerful, highly intelligent, persuasive

7. #7Vampiresselective

   Keys: · Secondary: vampire, vampire mutations, vampirism, infected vampirism, inherited vampirism

   There are two separate types of vampires in this world.

   Inherited Vampirism: the 'Original' Vampire; cannot walk in the sun. NEED to have human blood or they will turn into feral, bony creatures with no thoughts. Tend to bunch up in covens and typically stake claim to large territories.

   Infected Vampirism: A branch off of the Inherited, Infected individuals do not rely only on human blood and can survive off of animal blood. Infected vampires can walk in the sun and live 'normal' lives. They are not known to form covens.

   All types of vampires can transform into a larger monstrous form with massive wings, clawed hands and feet, and grey skin. They look similar to gargoyles in this form and are extremely dangerous and powerful

8. #8Werewolvesselective

   Werewolves sprawl the forests of King's Bay. There are feral types that live alone - often clashing with other werewolves for territory and mates. Most of the werewolf population in King's Bay are intelligent and can control their more animalistic urges.

   The werewolf is a creature that can reach up to eight to ten feet tall. They can run on all fours and are bipedal. A healthy werewolf will have fur in its transformed state, have a tail and will be able to parse out friendly scents. An unhealthy feral werewolf will look scrawny, bald and sickly.

9. #9Ghostsselective

   Ghosts haunt King's Bay - whether they are long dead locals or tourists who went missing. Most of them do not engage with the living - Asmodeus' presence deters them. But some of the specters who are too far gone will become poltergeists and violently threaten the living - especially if it is a tourist in a local's space.
