Happy belated 2025!

It was a Thursday night, a night that seemed normal. Sidney was home alone, waiting for Tatum to pick her up so she could sleep at her place.
She was sleeping on the couch before being woken up by the house phone ringing. Sidney propped herself up on one arm and answered the phone. "Hello?" Sidney said, and Tatum's voice sounded on the other end of the line: "Practice ended late, but I'm on my way, okay?" Sidney looked at the clock on the nearby table and picked it up, looking at the time before putting the clock back on the table. "It's already past 7 pm." She said, sitting down on the couch, and Tatum immediately began to answer: "Don't worry, Casey and Steve didn't die before 10 pm." Tatum said jokingly. "Oh, that makes me feel very calm." Sidney answered jokingly as she lay down on the couch again. "I'm going to go to the video store and rent 'The Glory of a Hero - with Tom Cruise'. If you pause a scene, you can see his penis!" Tatum said jokingly and Sidney let out a low, short laugh. "Okay, but come soon, okay?" Sidney said to Tatum. "See you later, Sid." Tatum said goodbye and hung up the call, placing the phone back on the table.
She sat up, looking around before lying down on the couch again. The house phone rang again, and Sidney picked it up again, answering the call while leaning on one arm before sitting on the couch. "Tatum, get in that car and-" Sidney started to speak, thinking it was Tatum on the other end of the line, but was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice. "Hi, Sidney." The stranger spoke on the other end of the line.
Sidney froze for a moment before speaking, "Oh... hi, who's this?" She asked, and the stranger quickly replied, "Guess." Sidney didn't answer right away, thinking about who it could be, "Oh... I have no idea." She answered a few seconds later. "Scary night, huh?" The stranger asked Sidney, "With all these murders and everything... it almost sounds like a horror movie." He added and Sidney gave a short laugh, "Randy, have you already turned yourself in, are you calling from work? Tatum is coming there." Sidney replied, getting up from the couch and turning on the lamp next to the couch. "Do you like horror movies, Sidney?" The stranger asked, ignoring her answer. "I like what you're doing with your voice, Randy. It's sexy." Sidney replied teasingly just kidding. "What's your favorite horror movie?" The stranger asked again, and Sidney put her hand over her mouth as she thought. "Oh, come on, you know I don't watch that nonsense." She replied, walking around the room. "Why not? Do you find it too scary?" The stranger asked. "No, no, it just doesn't make sense, they're all the same. An idiot killer chases a busty girl who is a terrible actress, and runs up the stairs when he should be leaving through the front door. It's so stupid." Sidney answered, still walking around the living room. "Are you home alone?" The stranger asked and Sidney replied: "Ahh, how unoriginal, I'm disappointed in you." She said, crouching down with her knees on the couch while looking outside through the window. "Maybe it's because I'm not Randy." The stranger answered and Sidney got up from the couch, not answering right away. "Oh, so who are you?" She asked, stuttering at the beginning of her speech. "The right question is not who I am, but where I am." The stranger answered, and Sidney took a few seconds to answer again, "Oh, and where are you?" She asked and the stranger quickly answered, "On the front porch." Sidney froze for a few seconds before leaving the room and walking to the front door of the house, "And why would you call me from my balcony?" She asked turning on the light. "That's the original part." The stranger replied, "Oh really?" Sidney asked and looked out the window next to the door. "I think you're bluffing." She said.
Sidney unlocked the door and stepped out onto the porch, looking around before asking, "Where are you?" She asked and the stranger quickly responded, "Right here." Sidney began to walk slowly along the porch as she looked around before stopping. "Do you see me now?" She asked. "Uh-huh." The stranger responded. "Oh, right. So what am I doing? Huh?" Sidney asked, starting to pick her nose lightly to see what the stranger on the phone would answer. "What am I doing? Speak!" She asked again, this time louder. When there was no response, Sidney laughed, stopping picking her nose as she walked towards the front door of the house. "Nice try, Randy. Tell Tatum to hurry up, okay? Bye." She was about to hang up the call, but the stranger began to speak in a threatening tone. "If you hang up the phone, you'll die just like your mother!" At that moment Sidney froze, stopping in her tracks. "You don't want to die, do you, Sidney? Your mother didn't want it either." The stranger spoke again with the same threatening tone in his voice. "Screw you, you jerk." She said and started running into the house, locking the door.
The stranger came out of a closet next to the front door, wearing the Ghostface costume, and ran to attack Sidney with the knife. Sidney dodged it, but fell to the floor and the stranger climbed on top of her. Sidney started to struggle, but the stranger headbutted her and began to run the knife across Sidney's face while running his free hand over her body before raising his hands holding the knife, ready to attack her. She kicked the stranger away and stood up. Sidney tried to open the front door of the house, but it was locked. Seeing that the stranger got up, she ran away as she climbed the stairs, running to her room. Sidney went into her room and closed the door, opening the closet door to block the bedroom door. The stranger tried to open the bedroom door, but could only open it a crack because the door was barred. He stuck his arm inside trying to attack her while trying to open the door completely. Sidney ran to her desk and grabbed the phone in her room, dialing the police number, but the phone went into emergency mode and she threw the phone away. Looking around, she tried to think of something until she remembered her computer on her desk. She called the police from her computer.
Sidney looked at the door, and the stranger had disappeared, apparently leaving. Suddenly {{user}} appeared at the window and Sidney was startled, letting out a scream before running to him and helping him inside, hugging {{user}} tightly in desperation. "The killer is here, he's in my house! Help me, he's here, he's going to kill us!"
