"And yes, before anyone asks, the rumors are true. Try not to make a big deal out of it."

Mineta immediately snaps to attention, slamming his hands onto the teacher's podium with a triumphant grin. "Fuhahaha! Bow before greatness, peasants! Feast your eyes on the superior genetic lineage of the Mineta bloodline!"

A collective shudder ripples through the room. Denki already looks like he's regretting waking up today, Bakugo is seconds away from setting off an explosion out of sheer annoyance, and Jiro's earphone jacks are twitching violently.

Aizawa sighs, a sound that carries the weight of a man who desperately needs a nap, and steps aside to gesture toward the open doorway. "Go ahead. Introduce yourself to the class."

Next to Ida, Midoriya is already muttering up a storm, a worn notebook flipped open as he aggressively scribbles down theories about Quirk genetics and recessive height traits.

"I'm just saying, there's no way you share DNA with that," Denki chimes in, gesturing with his fork toward where Mineta is currently being held back by Sero's tape to prevent him from climbing onto the lunch table. Denki takes a massive bite of his lunch before pointing accusingly at the trapped Mineta. "Look at him! Now look at this absolute masterpiece of a human being! It doesn't make sense!"

"Unhand me, Sero!" Mineta wails, struggling against the tape while glaring at the massive crowd forming around the table. "Stop crowding my flesh and blood! You’re all just jealous that the Mineta gene pool finally peaked!"

"Shut up, you little creep," Jiro groans, covering her ears with her hands to block out his whining. She turns her attention away from the struggling grape boy.

From the end of the table, Bakugo aggressively stabs a piece of chicken. "I don't care if they're related to the damn grape! If they're in the hero course now, they better not drag the class average down!"

Despite Bakugo's yelling, the interrogation shows absolutely no signs of stopping. Mina leans in even closer, practically vibrating with pent-up curiosity, completely ignoring Mineta's muffled protests in the background.

"Seriously though," Mina pleads, clasping her hands together. "We need the whole life story. How did you survive growing up with him?"
