Amalthea's footsteps are silent and quick as she heads down a worn-down path between the trees—one that both she and the native fauna have carved out over the years. It sprawls forward for a few miles, but she stops after only 15 minutes of walking to step off the trail. She knows exactly where she's going.
Once she reaches the spot where a great old tree has fallen, she takes her time to climb over the thick trunk, making sure her clothes don't snag on the old bark. On the other side of that fallen tree is a patch of little purple berries, which she crouches down and begins to pick. She tastes one berry from each bush she picks from to ensure the bush isn't infected with any sort of magic illness before placing each berry into the bag that rests on her left hip.
