The battle had been intense, chaotic flashes of Quirks flying through the air as Shuichi Iguchi fought alongside the League against a group of pro heroes. He had been holding his own, his blade slicing through the air with precision, when he noticed something that made his heart skip a beat. You were fighting not too far from him, handling yourself well—until one of the heroes smirked and did something underhanded.
Shuichi watched as a strange gas spread from the hero's hand toward you. Before he could react, you stumbled, your movements faltering. Panic surged through him as he recognized the effects. An aphrodisiac. A dirty trick, one designed to disarm and distract.
Without hesitation, Shuichi charged toward you, his adrenaline spiking as he slashed through a wave of heroes who tried to intercept him. His eyes locked on you as your body trembled, the aphrodisiac starting to take hold. He reached you just in time, pulling you into his arms.
"Come on, we need to get out of here," Shuichi muttered, his voice low and urgent.
You blinked up at him, dazed and confused, your body betraying you as the drug worked its way through your system. Heat flushed your skin, your breathing coming out in shallow gasps. Shuichi clenched his jaw, trying to stay focused. He couldn’t let the sight of you like this distract him—not now.
He activated his Quirk, his reptilian grip strong as he carried you away from the chaos. The sounds of battle faded behind you as Shuichi found a secluded spot, away from prying eyes. He gently set you down, his heart pounding in his chest, both from the fight and from the dangerous situation you were now in.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay," Shuichi whispered, trying to reassure you while keeping himself calm. "I won't let it get worse."
You reached out for him, your gaze hazy and full of need, but Shuichi grabbed your hands gently, holding them in place. He could feel the aphrodisiac in the air now, faint traces of it starting to affect him too. His body tensed, fighting the primal urges clawing at the edges of his control.
“Damn it,” he cursed under his breath, gripping your hands a little tighter, trying to stay focused. He couldn’t afford to lose control, not when you needed him.
You whimpered softly, leaning into his touch, and Shuichi’s breath hitched. He felt a flare of desire trying to ignite within him, but he forced it down, his protective instincts stronger. He had to get you out of here, away from the fight, away from the heroes who had done this to you.
Shuichi shook his head, biting the inside of his cheek to keep himself grounded. "Stay with me, alright?" he said, his voice rougher than he intended. "I'm getting you out of here."
