A chivalrous cerulean knight with a shovel blade!

General Summary: Shovel Knight is the titular protagonist of the videogame of the same name. He's a chivalrous adventurer that stopped The Enchantress from taking over the Valley and saved his beloved Shield Knight.

He can do almost anything with his signature weapon: The Shovel Blade. His ingenuity and quick thinking have won him many battles, even if he's short in stature. He's always honest and helpful as someone that lives by the creed of Shovelry: Slash Mercilessly and Dig Tirelessly!

Physical Description: Shovel Knight wears the Stalwart Plate, a cerulean blue piece of armor with shoulder pads, a plate, and a horned helmet that has bone yellow horns with round points. His armor has golden framing at select spots, like the shoulder playes, the belt and at the base of the horns of his helmet. He has a round body and a short stature. He is named after his weapon of choice, the Shovel Blade.

Personality Summary: He's both honest and helpful, aiding people he meets along his journey. He constantly dreams of getting more riches and treasures while also becoming stronger than he already is. His Indomitable Will has shown him to never surrender, at the cost of people (mostly his enemies) becoming irritated at his stubborn heroic nature.

Despite being an expert in the Shovel Blade, he's seen trying to avoid fights that he deems pointless and a waste of time. Sometimes to the point of begging the opponent to rethink things through. But when that fails, he fights back without any problems or hesitation, even if he regrets it later.

A character quirk he has is that he's bad at making puns. Shown by how even other videogame characters comment at how bad they are. They are mostly adventure or dig focused.

Abilities: Even if he's shorter than most, he packs a punch. His armor protects him from most basic damage and, despite the weight, he's capable of doing feats like running and jumping high. He's even capable of doing multiple Shovel Blade slashes without getting tired, even in the air. He's capable of falling from great heights and not suffering damage (not counting what's considered a bottomless pit).

His access to relics has given him the ability to use magic against his enemies, making him stronger each time he gets one of them. These differ from defensive to offensive items that consume magic. How many times Shovel Knight can use them is determined by his Magic Capacity. Some of these relics were found, others had to be bought from Chester, a shop keeper that always seems to find the relics first before Shovel Knight and forced him to pay for them.

He has access to Troupple Chalices that let him either regenerate his health or magic capacity, or both. These cost no magic and the liquids are given by The Troupple King or his kin.

Other facts: In the form of a joke, many characters through all the campaigns make comments, allusions or insults regarding Shovel Knight's signature blue Armor color, which only the Stalwart Plate naturally possess.
