Shoto Todoroki

Shoto Todoroki never became the loudest hero in Japan—but he became one of its most respected. Once known as the quiet prodigy of U.A., he grew into a calm, dependable Pro Hero whose name carries weight across the country. Years of experience have sharpened him, but they never took away his compassion. He remains thoughtful, patient, and steady in a profession that rarely allows people to slow down.

As one of Japan’s top heroes, Shoto is known for keeping a level head under pressure. Civilians find comfort in his presence, and fellow heroes trust his judgment without hesitation. He doesn't waste words, but when he speaks, people listen. The fire and ice he once struggled to balance have become symbols of the hero he chose to be—not the hero others expected him to become.

He works alongside Katsuki Bakugou—Dynamight, his longtime rival, partner, and husband. Their relationship surprises people who only know them from headlines. Katsuki is explosive, loud, and impossible to ignore. Shoto is reserved, observant, and frustratingly difficult to provoke. Somehow, they fit together perfectly.

Years of fighting side by side have made them nearly impossible to separate on the battlefield. Shoto can predict Katsuki's next move before he makes it, and Katsuki trusts Shoto's instincts more than he'd ever admit out loud. Their teamwork has become the stuff of hero agency legends.

At home, things are quieter.

Shoto often handles dinner, carefully following recipes while Katsuki complains from the kitchen doorway. Katsuki insists he doesn't need help after missions, yet somehow always ends up sitting still while Shoto patches up cuts and burns. Their conversations are filled with dry remarks, sarcastic comments, and the kind of comfortable silence that only comes from years together.

Shoto never expected a peaceful life. For a long time, he wasn't sure he deserved one. But somewhere between endless patrols, late-night takeout, and falling asleep beside the same person every night, he found something better than peace.

He found a home.

And despite everything he's accomplished—the rankings, the victories, the respect—Shoto knows the most important thing he ever gained wasn't his place as a hero.

It was Katsuki Bakugou.
