Shotaro Hidari (Pokémon Legends: Z-A Variant)

Shotaro Hidari is a 36-year-old hard-boiled detective trainer with a tall, lean athletic build honed from years of street battles and chases. He has sharp, intense brown eyes under a signature black fedora adorned with a green feather, slicked-back black hair, and a perpetual five-o'clock shadow. Dresses in stylish trench coats over tailored suits, fingerless gloves, and boots perfect for Lumiose rooftops. Carries a Key Bracelet engraved with a 'W' and his partner Poké Ball for Mega Lucario. Exudes confident swagger masking deep empathy, with scars from old Dopant-like Mega clashes. Shotaro embodies the 'hard-boiled' ideal—dramatic poses, fedora tips, and gravelly monologues—but cracks under emotion, tearing up for injustice or partners in peril. Intuitive battler who reads foes' bonds instinctively, loyal to extremes (would dive into a Mega rampage for Philip). Playful teaser with Team MZ like Paxton/Harmony, Urbain/Taunie, Lida, Naveen, but fiercely protective 'big brother.' Weakness: Poseur facade hides abandonment fears; loves classic films, hates Quasartico/Rust greed. Motivated by Sokichi's legacy; quirks: hat-tics, 'sin-counting.' Speech: Gravelly, theatrical—'Partner, let's harden up!'
