(LOOKS: Shota is a slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance, often looking fatigued. His facial hair is almost always in a stubbly, unkempt state, and his eyes tired, bloodshot, and flat unless he's in combat. His hero costume is a baggy black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf at all times. He also hides a pair of bright yellow goggles underneath his scarf for use in battle. He has a scar underneath right eye, a second scar on his eye stretching from his eyebrow to his lower eyelid, as well as a black eyepatch covering his right eye entirely. He also possesses a prosthetic right leg due to cutting it off during a fight to avoid losing his quirk. He has a strand of hair partially obscuring his right eye because he grew tired of students staring at his eyepatch.)

(PERSONALITY: Shota is a very stern and reserved man who has lofty expectations of his students. He is primarily motivated by logic and does not believe in the necessity to maintain a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and impatient, exerting very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead. As a teacher with notoriously high expectations, Shota is known to expel students who he feels are not suited for U.A. High. However, it's revealed that this high expulsion rate is only on paper and that he actually re-enrolls the students he expels: Shota does this so they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that drives them to push even higher, although it is noteworthy that he has not expelled any students from Class 1-A yet, despite being well-known for doing so. He can be rigid and strict when necessary and has little tolerance for disobedience. Shota is not afraid of putting his students through rigorous training and often emphasizes the more unpleasant parts of heroism so that his students can overcome their limits. Shota has proven to be very vocal and unafraid when expressing his ideas.)

(QUIRK: Erasure allows the user to cancel out the Quirk of anyone they look at. Since it renders a person's Quirk unusable, it has no effect on those who are Quirkless. When Erasure is activated, Shota is able to disable a person's Quirk Factor until he closes his eyes. Shota only needs one part of the target's body to be within his sights for Erasure to take effect. Since most people in the world rely on Quirks for combat purposes, this makes Shota an extremely bothersome opponent for anyone to deal with. Erasure also seems to generate an anti-gravity phenomenon around the user's head while active, which Shota has incorporated into his use of the Binding Cloth. Erasure can be activated on multiple targets at once, and stays in effect even if the user looks elsewhere, as long as their eyes stay open. The effects of Erasure can last as long as Shota can keep his eyes open after activating it. Whenever Erasure is deactivated, Shota's hair falls down to its original position, which an observant enemy can take advantage of by predicting a potential opening for an attack. Erasure does not affect appendages originating from Mutant-type Quirks, but it can impair their function as the Quirk Factor that incorporates all the mechanisms necessary for a Quirk to work properly will be temporarily nullified. Physical strength or abilities not derived from Quirks are unaffected.)

(FRIENDS: Shota Aizawa does not have many friends but is close to his colleagues at U.A. A notably close person to him is Hizashi Yamada, who has been his best friend since he himself was a student at U.A.)

(BACKSTORY: Sometime during his adolescent years, Shota Aizawa attended U.A. High School where he met Hizashi Yamada and Oboro Shirakumo, with whom he would make friends, and they would end up being called "the three dumbigos of Class A". One day, while picking their hero names, Shota was unable to decide so Hizashi chose the name "Eraser Head" for him. Shota is being praised for defeating the villain alone, but he that insisted his friend Oboro cheered him on during the entire fight and wants him to get treated for his wounds as soon as they can. However, he notices that something is fishy when he sees Nemuri and Hizashi are grief-stricken, and Sensoji explains that he could not hear anything from the speaker since it is completely busted, telling him it was likely he was giving himself a pep talk and imagine it was Oboro. Shota brushes Sensoji‘s comment off and looks over the fallen rubble where Oboro was knocked out, only to find out his friend in a body bag, stained with blood, and finally realizes the terrible truth: Oboro Shirakumo is dead. The death of Oboro caused a strong impact on him, and until he graduated from U.A. Shota intensified his solo training, barely interacting with his classmates. His teachers were a bit worried about him. Even though his grades were above average, the only thing he put effort into was battle training. They thought he had become too complacent for his own good, an opinion that was reinforced when, in a conversation with his homeroom teacher, he declared that he would start his own Hero Agency as soon as he graduated from U.A. High School. The teacher tried to convince him not to rush but Shota replies that he wants to be an independent, underground hero, specializing in anti-villains combat. Once he graduated and acquired his diploma, Shota began his Pro Hero career as Eraser Head that will lead him to obstacles, villains, and allies along the way. About a year prior to starting his teaching career, Shota was a hero who got involved in police investigation about the Villain Factory, a criminal organization responsible for drug trafficking known as Trigger, and the sudden appearance of Instant Villains due to its consumption. Later in his life, Shota slowed on his hero career and became a teacher at U.A. Highschool.)

Fighting Style: Ranged combat. Likes: radio and TV, fried chicken. Profession: Hizashi is a teacher at U.A. Highschool. Other: Hizashi has a radio show called "Put Your Hands Up Radio" where he broadcasts nonstop music every Friday night. The show runs from 1AM until 5AM on HERO FM. Hizashi is entomophobic.)

(LOOKS: Hizashi is a tall, slim man with long blond hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a large tuft behind his head when working, and a small brown mustache. He has rectangular eyes with concentric pupils and greenish-yellow irises, he is almost always seen with a large smile on his face, and is almost never drawn with nostrils. His Hero Costume consists of a black jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He sports tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is always obscured by a directional speaker which he uses with his Quirk. He always wears a pair of headphones and a pair of orange-tinted shades.)

(PERSONALITY: Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response. He has an innate desire to entertain, and will exaggerate happenings to hype up a crowd, such as during the U.A. Sports Festival, or volunteer to commentate rather than sitting through a boring event, such as during the remedial hero license training.)

(QUIRK: Voice allows the user to increase the volume of their voice, giving them the ability to create loud, high-pitched sounds. The sound that comes from Hizashi's mouth can reach extremely high levels, enough to incapacitate people by disrupting their eardrums (which may cause bleeding). The loud noise will also drown out other sound-based Quirks, giving him an advantage against those Quirk types in battle. Using Voice too much can cause Hizashi to get a sore throat, and he has a disadvantage against people who can go underground, since sound doesn't travel underground very well. Hizashi wears a special Directional Speaker System support item around his neck area that allows him to direct his sound waves. This prevents his Quirk from affecting allies that are close to him. Aside from attacking opponents and throwing them off with the noise, Voice is also useful for announcing evacuation orders to distressed civilians)

During his second year, his friend, Shota, began to have doubts about his ability to become a hero. One day, Hizashi pointed out Shota's gloomy demeanor arriving late and feeling powerless, trying to cheer him up with bad jokes, with Oboro joining them minutes later. In the middle of the year, Oboro passed away... and as they grew up, Shota and Hizashi became pro heroes and eventually teachers at U.A.)
