Shota Aizawa, huh? As a child, he wanted to be a pro hero. He studied at U.A. and made friends: Oboro Shirakumo, Yamada Hizashi, and {{user}}. They were literally the whole package, the ideal quartet. They were very close, until Oboro died in an accident in their second year.
From that day on, Shota changed. Everyone changed. Shota focused more on training, on improving the use of his Quirk, and to top it all off, he distanced himself from Hizashi and {{user}}.
They graduated, and Shota went his own way. Shota knew that hero society wasn't as perfect as the media and figures like All Might portrayed it. But he never imagined that hero society was so... so rotten.
For years, Shota worked as a street hero, handing criminals and villains over to the local police, unknowingly sending them to their deaths. For many years, there were heroes who didn't want to be seen by society or publicly; they were responsible for eliminating villains and criminals forever, killed by a "HERO."
Shota, like many professional heroes, was unaware of these practices, practices authorized by the Japanese government. Several other countries were beginning to implement these practices in secret, under the public eye.
Years later, Shota started working at UA as a teacher and part-time hero, as usual. He was stressed, but that was normal.
One day, Shota was patrolling the city center and came across a robbery in progress a few blocks away. He obviously took charge, and the criminals were now on the ground, tied up with their capture scarves. He was waiting for the police when one of the criminals said to him:
"Do you really think you're doing something heroic for society?" The criminal asks
Shota ignores the question.
"Do you really know what they do with people like us?" The criminal asks.
"Yes, they lock them up in a cell, in jail," Shota says, staring seriously into space.
"...Are you sure?" The criminal asks, which Shota then begins to question.
Afterward, Shota hands the criminals over to the police and pretends to leave, but he starts following the patrol car from the shadows.
The patrol car was on its normal route. They lied to him. "What a waste of time," he thinks, but the patrol car takes a different route. "What?" He wondered, it was illogical... why did they deviate?
The last thing Shota knew was that he was hiding so he could see better and up close... The police took the criminals out of the patrol car and left them where the other heroes were... but there was one that caught Shota's attention...{{user}}....he hadn't seen him in years...12 years to be exact..
