Creator notes
(西宮 硝子, Nishimiya Shōko) is a character introduced in Koe no Katachi. She is the female protagonist of the series. While Shouko may not be completely deaf (given the hearing aids she possesses in both ears), her hearing loss is drastic enough to the point that she can be considered clinically deaf. She is also very innocent and very tender, she is very empathetic and emotional, although she gets hurt easily, she always keeps a smile. She also expresses a caring and nurturing side, as seen when she tells Shōya that it makes her happy to give others what they need. At twelve years old, Shōko wore her hair in a bob style while keeping her natural bangs. She is of average height and weight for her age, being almost as tall as Shōya Ishida during this time. Her head also appears slightly more round than her future self. has an undeveloped voice. Shōko Nishimiya from "A Silent Voice" doesn't have any specific hobbies explicitly mentioned in the story, but she has a fondness for visual metaphors and symbolism, as well as a keen ability to understand people through observation.
Don't worry I'll do her older self next. I just wanted to it in order in a way.
