Personality ShoeBilly_ has been shown to be sadistic and spiteful to the server's new players, placing him firmly on the side of the old ones. Billy craves power and has no qualms about killing people to increase his own personal strength and influence. The danger Billy poses is further tempered by his confidence and PVP ability.

He is a self-described selfish person, and his philosophy is one where the strong rule. He is at one point referred to as "the butcher" by a corrupt member of the Capital City Police Force, suggesting a long history of previous bloody crimes. When he first meets Parrot, he is already a mercenary and assassin of renown. His ascent to this status was no doubt fueled by his ruthless greed. He believes that friends hold people back and are worthless and he says so to Theo and others.

History Shoebilly joins Capital City police and attacks Parrot and TheoBaldTheBird. After a confrontation with Theo he retreats but also tells him that Parrot is using him and tries to convince him that the server is falling apart because of the new players. He later destroys a building with hundreds of new players inside. He plans a massacre of the server's new players in Captial City, but the plot is foiled and he retreats to whence he came.

CinderCrest hires him to destroy King Parrot's experimental civilization of Skymore. The civilization is easily overrun by him and Cindercrest's forces. Devoid of compassion or mercy, Shoebilly enacts yet another bloodbath, this time killing almost 1000 new players. The massacre is of the same scale as the one Wemmbu and Flamefrags enacted in their 2v1000 battle against the Law, but since the server's population has increased so much the repercussions are felt less. He then hunts down Parrot and attempts to separate him from Theo, likely due to Theo's considerable skill. Parrot finally confronts him after reading Zoe's story and asks him if he feels any remorse. Shoebilly says he feels none at all and tells Parrot that only the strong are meant to survive, which reminds Parrot of old memories with Ashswagg. However, Shoe is forced into a confrontation with Theo. After a very hard-fought battle, Shoebilly is forced to retreat. When Theobald returns to Parrot later, his netherite armor is missing, presumably broken by Shoe.

Billy helps CinderCrest attack Parrot's kingdom and was a big help in CinderCrest's victory over Fort Feather. During the Merchant City battle he maces people until CinderCrest is forced to retreat. During the battle at Highwater City he attempts to destroy the arrow cannon stopping the CiderCrest army from advancing but was forced to retreat when the second arrow cannon, this on pointed at the sky, was shot at him. Flamefrags eventually utilizes a distraction to destroy the second arrow cannon allowing Billy to destroy the first. Arachn1d's team eventually shows up with Wemmbu and allows CinderCrest the victory despite their previous very low numbers.

Billy helps Cindercrest take Steampunk City. He then chases Parrot and his team down when they steal Cindercrest's supplies, attempting to stall for the majority of Cindercrest to catch up.

When stationed at Steampunk City, Billy was victim to the attack launched by Wemmbu and he leaves ShoeBilly weak and asserts that the caves are more powerful and Arachnid wants to warn him of the kingdom's power. Flame later brings an army to Wemmbu for revenge but Billy is not there because he is still recovering from the duel where his armour broke.

He fights in the final battle at Capitol City, taunting Theo several times. He likely helps Saps kill the new players after Saps wins the war and becomes ruler of the server.

Trivia It is revealed that ShoeBilly_ wields one of the last maces left on the server. ShoeBilly_’s skin is a shoebill stork, a type of large predatory bird. This makes him a candidate for the biggest bird. ShoeBilly once trained TheobaldTheBird[1]. ShoeBilly said Theo and Billy are like each other (possibly insinuating that both of them are killers at heart)[2]. The last time Billy met with Theo was in the farlands[3]. ShoeBilly could have had reach or enlarged Hitboxes in the script as Billy seems to land even the hardest mace hits on Theo when Billy is in F5. Billy probably doesn't know much about the personal relationship/history between Theo and Parrot, stating Parrot would just leave him if he was a slight inconvenience. Even if he does know the depths of their friendship, his mercenary, cynical attitude is on display[4]. ShoeBilly's highly developed elytra mace technique ustilizes his offscript spear mace skills in combination with the elytra and rockets for boosts of speed ShoeBilly_'s in-game character and his voice is played by lahdoh. lahdoh (ShoeBilly's in game actor) is LT3 at mace, making him debatebly better than Wemmbu overall.

The Invisible Mafia: Led by Ashswag, this early dominant faction used coordination and terror tactics to dismantle other power structures. The LAW: Formed as an armored enforcer/justice faction led by LettuceK and SargeLAW before eventually falling into tyranny and ruin.Pirates: A chaotic, repeatedly fractured group historically led by Jaden_MAN. Kingdom of the Caves / Zam Empire: Major civilization-based factions tied to prominent content creators like Wemmbu and PrinceZam navigating shifting server politics.

The Unstable SMP Core Peculiarities & Mechanics:

1. Multiple Server Filming The series is filmed across separate synchronized servers for different protagonists rather than a single shared world, preventing accidental interference during recording.

2. Hardcore Death-Bans While standard hardcore hearts are implemented via texture packs, real permanent or temporary death-bans turn the environment into a high-stakes survival ordeal.

3. Predictable Fatalities Deaths and plot events on the server follow an intricate, non-random script where upcoming demises can actually be foreseen through hidden foreshadowing.

4. Advanced Technology The world features devastating custom mechanics and illegal structures like orbital strike cannons and mysterious world-stripping machines ("the forge").
