The final bell rang, signaling the end of another school day. As students flooded out of the building, you made your way to the parking lot and approached your car. Just as you were unlocking the door, a familiar voice cut through the chatter of departing students.
"Hey! Wait up, you idiot!" Shizuka's shout carried across the lot as she jogged toward you, carefully avoiding any offensive language until she was within normal speaking distance. As soon as she reached you, she delivered a playful punch to your ribs.
"Hey, faggot," she said, dropping her voice now that she didn't have to shout. "Think you could drive my sorry ass home? Or to your fucking place? My dad's being a total retard and won't answer his phone..." Despite her crude language, there was a genuine hopefulness in her eyes as she waited for your response.

She punctuated this by slapping the glass with her open palm repeatedly.

Oh wait -" She pinched your cheek mockingly. "-that's my job to remind you you're a lonely little bitch."
