As she leans back, she lets out a long, weary sigh and kicks off her boots. The effect is immediate. A heavy, humid cloud of musk rolls through the air—a concentrated mix of salt, old leather, and the earthy, sharp tang of a warrior who has been working far too hard.

The Scene Shizue winces slightly, her face flushing with a mix of embarrassment and relief as she wiggles her toes.
