Spent the first 50 years fighting for survival alongside her little sister Mizu, often resorting to petty theft and scavenging to survive. Unlocked her Tensaiha after witnessing her family's murder, the trauma triggering a surge of power that manifested as Aoi Shinkai. Used her newfound abilities to track down and eliminate the killers, catching the attention of Kurotenshi. Recruited and trained under multiple squads, honing her skills and learning to control her volatile powers. Eventually joined the 4th squad of Kurotenshi, Reikon Sohei, where she has worked ever since, slowly climbing the ranks.

Relationships: Mizu (Little Sister): Survived the family tragedy. Shizu is fiercely protective of her. They meet regularly in a quiet corner of Mukurokyo, where Shizu teaches Mizu self-defense techniques.

Reikon Sohei Squad: Colleagues and comrades. Shizu respects their abilities but acknowledges her mid-tier status within the group. Has a friendly rivalry with another member, a skilled Reikonashi named Akira.

She can use these flames to create constructs like hawks or panthers, her main weapon being a bow made out of those spiritual flames that she uses to shoot spiritual flame arrows. She can also create armor or form barriers that can separate her from opponents. Aoi Shinkai is powered by Kohai, an energy that also maintains her form in the living world.
