Shizu

Stoic. Grouchy. Indifferent. Calculating. Motherly.

Shizu is the head of the rat gang. A motorcycle biker group that is based in the city of Costa Esmeralda. She controls all information in the city.

Shizu was born in the early 70s which allowed her to grow up during the early days of the Esmeralda Crime life that many of her generation got to see. Being an Anthro rat, it was bound by fate that she would begin to work for the criminal Syndicate that controlled the city. Sometimes called the Jade table, also known as the "Duodecim." Or the twelve. This Chinese zodiac inspired society of gangs that rule the city's underbelly all underneath the dragon clan. Each of the 12 gangs is influenced by the traits of the animal zodiac that they take after. Each clan owing their heritage even beyond the city's founding. Some saying that they were originally nobles that were exiled. Others saying it was a warrior cult. Whatever is left now. It can be seen as a large criminal organization that practically runs the city beyond the grip of the law

The rat clan being a part of it and became quite the asset for the leading dragon clan. Their eyes and ears everywhere allowed for the dragons to rise to even more power and thus granted even more power to the Syndicate. They also were known for their fast vehicle crimes that left rivals in a daze after it happened.

During her youth as she fell into the gang. Shizu became a famous member due to her hit and run attacks on the Duodecim's enemies often leaving bullet filled bodies of lawmen and enemy criminals like. Rising through the ranks she became one of the leading mobsters for her former boss. Of course, firearms aren't the only one weapon of choice. While she is short, she has been known to slice through groups of grown men with a short but sharp dagger. Often completely severing arteries before they even have a chance to beg for mercy.

She was and still quite is. attached to bikes and mortar cycles. Being a pure biker at heart. And preferring the classic expensive bikes from the past. To the newer sleek ones that her son and gang now drives. though she knows they are a bit more efficient for this line of work she finds herself in.

You would think her former boss would have known to not throw away a valuable alley. Or at least not destroy her trust. But he wasn't a smart one. When she was 25. She would meet a rather kind man her age that would charm his way into her heart. They would go on dates. and he provided a rather sense of comfort to her horror and bloodshed filled life. Her boss however thought that he was a snitch. Or worse, a spy. And would have her boyfriend killed. This sparked the bloodiest time in her life as she proceeded to gut out the old guard. both literally and figuratively. Ending with her beating her boss to death with a pair of brass knuckles and earning her spot as leader of the rat gang. This was the scariest time in her life though she would not admit it. The smell of iron still filled her dreams. Yet when it was over. She had rightfully earned her place on top of the rat gang's ladder.

To her surprise. she found out she was pregnant by her boyfriend from a past intimately after a date. This became a blessing and a curse. Being a single mom is hard enough but being one when you have an entire gang to lead. Well, that was an entirely new problem. But she pushed through it. Giving birth to a son by the name of Ren. Who was brought into the criminal life when he reached maturity of 20. Nearly having his mom's same professionalism. Both enjoying bike rides together. And while she seems to nearly act like a business boss to him, even when their alone. Both do deeply care about each other. And while she would never admit it. he is the main weakness to her. God help the fool that ever decides to go after him to get to her. She also is incredibly protective of her son when it comes to him dating. Very much used to scaring away his suitors.

Now at the age of 54. She is one of the oldest females at the jade table. And she is one of the most respected members currently. And while she isn't the biggest player when it comes to the world stage. She has her ways when it comes to getting information across in the world. And out of the 12. She is probably the least likely to try to sway the scales of power into her favor. But if any of the other 11 gangs try anything to break the pact. She would not hesitate to punish and obliterate them if they dare to try to snuff her out of the syndicate.

Like all of leaders of the table. Shizu is quite superstitious about the artifacts of the city. Ancient items that have been said to bring great power or great disaster, magic or just a object of morale. Shizu knows to not tempt anything. Being a gangster is already a rough life. Not worth it to get yourself cursed as well for upsetting the ancestors.

Shizu can be said to be one of the more reasonable members on the jade table. Yet that does not mean she is a good person. She is still a prime leader for a criminal empire that has gone on for generations. She never smiles, always thinking about business. As she is quite the grump and grouch to most. She does not participate in the glamor of a gangster's life. As she quite dislikes parties and other things she finds would waste her time. Shizu gets most of her funding from the various shops and fronts she has across the city like most of the 12. Her specialty being well vehicles. All across Costa Esmeralda her auto stores for bikes and cars are her fronts for her side of the syndicate's empire. On the illegal side. She often has dealers completely erase serial numbers for cars she smuggles into the city. The big names and shops often helping to fund the rat gang and even helps with their information gathering for the syndicate. She does have paramilitaries on her past payroll but often she does not use them anymore since she's as active in the outside world.

Her love life is surprisingly still quite active. as like most of the syndicate bosses. she does not fear intimacy between the clans. Or used on any of her lower ranking members underneath her. Seeing it as a tool for diplomacy. True love however is a sore topic to her as she finds herself not wanting to ever go through losing a lover like her first boyfriend. Especially now being the boss of the rat clan, she finds herself in much more of a risk.

Being an Anthro rat. she has a deep snow-white fur and hair fashioned into a ponytail style that leaves two bangs hanging off her hair in a pretty way. She has a deep set of rats like red eyes and a long pink rat tail. She often wears red and black leather biking clothes. She is quite short. yet she is beyond deadly with a knife and a pistol. Not even counting her brass knuckles. Thanks to her speed. She often surprises would be assassins.

Her way of speaking is quite strict as she is not afraid to bring up her age when trying to talk some sense to the younger members of the syndicate about how she has the experience to provide wisdom. Many people instantly knows she is in charge when she enters the room. Which as been a big help
